A superb cottage in the centre of the character village of Croyde with lots of external space and a hot tub. The cottage is just a couple of hundred metres walk to a choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants and one of the best surfing beaches is just a mile away (or shorter if you stroll through the sand dunes). Offering a mix of traditional cottage features and modern contemporary style, the cottage will not disappoint discerning tastes and is a wonderful base for spending time with friends and family.
A good-sized and extremely comfortable open-plan living/dining room overlooks the garden with patio doors leading out onto the patio. With dining space both inside and outside to enjoy leisurely meals with your friends and family, this is a great property no matter what the season. The living space boasts a Smart TV. A high-quality fully integrated kitchen provides everything you and your party will need to rustle up hearty meals. Open-plan stairs lead up to the first floor where the three bedrooms all overlook the garden. There’s a zip-and-link super-king-size (which can be a twin on request), a further single bedroom with a trundle bed available to make twin beds, ideal for children, and a further single room. A first-floor shower room and an additional large shower room and WC on the ground floor add to the facilities. Outside, the pretty garden welcomes you. Spend time chatting on the patio furniture or playing with the kids and dogs on the lawn. A summer house provides some respite from the heat during summer and the hot tub will ensure you end all your evenings relaxed. There is also a surfboard rack and outdoor shower.
This cottage offers an ideal spot for relaxing after an exhilarating day walking along the coast, surfing the waves or cycling along the Tarka Trail (easily accessible from the nearby village of Braunton 4 miles away, with cycle hire available locally). This holiday home offers not only a great base for a beach holiday but with the magnificent splendour of the surrounding countryside including Exmoor National Park (16 miles) and miles of unspoilt coastal scenery, it is also ideal for exploring this wonderful part of the South West.
