What looks like nothing from the street turns out to be a perfect house for a family reunion. Plenty of space, comfy beds. Owner was quick to respond to questions. FYI no dishwasher or garbage disposal, and it's definitely a one man kitchen. But hanging out on the deck, watching sunsets from the dock, puzzles, games, a piano, a cribbage board, and a short commute to Oshkosh for EAA week. What more could you want?!
The house has a beautiful view of Green Lake. The bedroom accommodations were terrific. Comfy beds and large closet’s upstairs. The basement is beautiful and was a great place for the kids to hang out. The house worked very well for our family and dog. We would definitely stay here again!
The house is located at a wonderful spot right on Green Lake. Walk out the back door and right down to the pier on the dock for fun fishing for the kids.
Two large family rooms with TVs that allow some separation from each other if desired.
The kitchen is very small, but we don't go to the lake to spend a lot of time cooking in the kitchen, so that was not a huge issue for us.
The beds are comfortable and the entire house was very clean.
We would definitely look into renting this house for a future trip to Green Lake.
The house was large and the view was spectacular!. A few things would have made the stay totally comfortable. In the bedrooms, would have been nice to have a small chest or a similar cabinets to unpack all our clothing items. The downstair bedrooms had no hanging rods or chests. Neither bathrooms had towel rods or towel drying racks and the downstairs bathroom did not have any electrical outlets! We did end up placing two small replaceable hanging hooks for hand towels. Just a note to let you know that the upstairs bedroom with the two single beds has a bedside table with a detached leg. We almost lost the lamp on it when we tried to move the table to access the light outlet behind. I think these small adjustments will make your house totally comfortable for any family.
We vacationed at this property for a week and enjoyed our stay very much. There were 9 of us, ( ages 19 months to 72), and the arrangement of the bedrooms with 3 on the upper level and 2 in the lower along with refrigerators, bathrooms and living areas on both levels allowed us to gather or retreat as needed.
We didn't understand a previous review that said the house was too small unless everyone was trying to be in the kitchen at the same time. The kitchen is quite small but is well equipped and has a double oven. There is also a large gas BBQ grill on the lower level patio. Again, the 2 refrigerators & freezers really helped as we had prepared and frozen meals in advance of our trip and we still had plenty of room for our beverages.
We trailered our canoe and our son did the same with a pontoon boat. There's a great $3 boat launch 1/2 mile down the street and our rental property had space for the 2 trailers along with 2 trucks and 2 cars. The dock has an umbrella, bench, Adirondack chair and lovely sunsets. We swam off the dock but it also appears to be a popular fishing spot. The walk down to the dock is quite steep but is well maintained as is all of the exterior of the property.
We stayed during one of the hottest weeks of the summer and were very comfortable throughout our stay. We found the lake and surrounding towns afforded us many options and we could have easily stayed another week!
Thank you Laurie for a memorable week!!
Excellent cabin, just fits 10 people comfortably. Great lake access and swimming capability off the pier without concern for boulders or it being too shallow. Pier was in good shape (a problem at other cabins in previous years). Basement appears to be newly remodeled. The new deck and firepit were welcome perks. We'll be hoping this cabin is available next year when we vacation.
Our annual reunion with family was perfect at this Green Lake property! The house was a great size for the twelve of us (half kids, half adults). A few favorites: sunbathing on the dock, sunsets from the deck, renting a boat to enjoy the lake.
Great location for a lake getaway. Enjoyed having the extra bedrooms, two family rooms, hammocks, nice gas grill, and great views of the sunsets. One concern is if you are renting a boat or will be bringing one you may not want to dock it there. Winds were a little rough on the lake a few days and the dock was not cushioned to protect a boat. We instead kept our boat at the marina a 6 minute drive away.
The property is deceiving when you pull up into the drive but once you get inside and walk through it was very nice. Upstairs could use some updating but not bad as it is. Kitchen is small and could use a dishwasher. Very minor complaints all in all. The stay, views and sunset were all great. The yard is set up very nice and the basement is all new and great to hang out in. The property manager/owner was very nice and available when needed. We recommend this spot and will return when we have a chance.

Great location/Very clean
The cottage was very clean an in an excellent location, right on the lake. We found the property to be too small for a family with four, full-grown, teenage sons. For a smaller family or a family with young/younger children, this should not be a problem.
