§ The Accommodation

Il Trullo della rosa has been published in two books "TRULLI living & hosting" Congedo editore and "Country Chic Living" by Marta Serrats.

Sophisticated trullo, consisting of 5 cones and a renovated lamia, 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living rooms with sofa bed, a kitchen and a magnificent outside for outdoor dining, resting on the beautiful cushions of the brick sofas and a swimming pool between the olive trees obtained in an ancient "iazzo".

The floors are in old stone, the stone sinks, the walls are dry, beautiful stone vaults will cradle your rest.

A panoramic rustic-chic trullo conversion with fabulous outdoor spaces. Trullo della Rosa sits on a hill top at the end of a private white road that lead to the 1. 5-hectare estate planted with lawns, olive and fruit trees and colorful flowers.

A hop, skip and a jump away from the house across a lawned area, is the lovely pool area, complete with shower and surrounded by rose, flowers, rosemary and lavender, olive trees.

Back near the house, and easily accessed from the kitchen, is the lovely al fresco dining area and the huge U shaped cushion-covered stone sofa, where guests are destined to last long into the starry night ...

Thanks to the thick trulli stone walls, designed to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter, there is no need of air-conditioning.

§ The district

The TRULLO della ROSA is located in the countryside 7 km from the city center of Ceglie Messapica.
To reach the Trullo della Rosa from Brindisi airport it takes about 40 minutes and from Bari an hour

Ceglie Messapica is located on the border between the Itria valley and Salento, known as the "city of art and gastronomy".
In the summer the two patronal festivals are truly fascinating, in fact the whole of Ceglie is decorated with wonderful lights, you are immersed in a moment in the atmosphere of the festivals of southern Italy.
Ceglie Messapica is located at 300 meters above sea level, for this reason it enjoys an excellent climate, so much so that already in 1800 it was chosen as a destination for summer holidays.

The Trullo della Rosa is located in a strategic position, ideal for day trips to cultural sites such as Ostuni, Cisternino, Martina Franca, Polignano a mare, the magnificent Lecce, or to enjoy a day at the beach on the coasts of the two Apulian seas, in fact, you can reach the beaches on the Adriatic Sea in about 25 minutes, while those on the Ionian Sea take about 45 minutes, despite the fact that the swimming pool offers a very valid alternative to the crowds in August.
Puglia is a wonderful region of Southern Italy, now also known as "Southern Tuscany".
