Beautiful setting. great views. Very relaxing

Stayed for 3 nights very relaxing. Lovely and clean. Very quiet location. Great base to get to the coast and inland attractions plus some lovely walks nearby

Woodpecker Cottage

The cottage is a lovely, cosy retreat. It's in a great location for exploring the surrounding area and the hosts, Zena & Leigh were excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay. Woodpecker Cottage was very cute and cosy. Hosts Zena & Leigh were very attentive and even provided some basic food items which included some non dairy items for me and fresh eggs from their hens. They were very helpful and gave us information on great hiking locations. They also provide lots of documentation at the cottage with suggestions of things to do and sites to visit. The area was very pastoral and provided easy access to many hiking spots (local and up to 1hr away).

Heel net huisje met alles wat nodig is voor een fijn verblijf. Aardige verhuurder. Mooie omgeving met fijne zitplekken. Wel een smalle weg om de accommodatie te bereiken. We hadden niet gelezen dat de andere verhuurlokatie deels boven de "woodpecker" zat. Gelukkig waren dat ook rustig gasten.

Lovely rural location

A lovely getaway just what we needed in a lovely rural location , the cottage has everything you need and with a beautiful view over the valley, we where able to watch a pair of red kites soaring overhead it was a delight .
