Mas Rosset is an 18th-century farmhouse located in a unique and privileged area of the county called Pla de l'Estany surrounded by a quiet, natural, environment. Its three spacious storeys, totally restored with love, retain much of their original character and allow you to enjoy a truly memorable experience.

Ideal for groups:

Mas Rosset is ideal for hosting groups of up to 20 people in complete comfort within 8 double rooms each with a private bathroom, in addition to comfortable common spaces and a large outdoor garden area equipped with everything necessary to enjoy a unique and pleasant stay.

Complete installations:

Mas Rosset is equipped with scrupulously well-maintained facilities thought through to the last detail. On the inside we have created just the right lighting and ambient music equipment which is also included in all the common areas – spa with heated Jacuzzi and Finnish sauna, gym, home cinema, games room, library, meeting room, wellness room, barbecue, swimming pool and paddle tennis court.

Included in the rental rate, we offer:
· Farmhouse assistants, available 24 hours a day.
· Garden and swimming pool maintenance service.
· Daily cleaning service.
· Delivery of freshly baked bread every morning.
· A free arrival basket in the kitchen (Bread, water, fruit, tea, coffee, salt, sugar, ...).
· Some basic cleaning products for the kitchen and laundry.
· Courtesy charcoal for the barbecue.
· Rackets and balls for the paddle tennis court.

A beautiful and truly unique property less than 30 minutes from Girona! We brought our entire family—three sons, their spouses, and our grandchildren—and there was plenty of room for all 15 of us to spread out comfortably.We loved the spacious grounds and spent hours enjoying the large pool, complete with a great assortment of pool toys. Evenings were especially memorable, whether playing paddle ball under the lights or gathering for happy hour on the beautiful covered portico.One of the things we appreciated most was the peaceful countryside setting. It provided a relaxing escape from the crowds while still being close enough to enjoy many of Catalonia’s highlights. We explored the charming medieval town of Besalú, spent time at beautiful Lake Banyoles, visited the fascinating Dalí Museum in Figueres, took a day trip to the Costa Brava, and even caught the train to Barcelona to experience its incredible sights.This property was the perfect home base for our family vacation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to some of the best destinations in the region.

Wonderful stay

Amazing property, with great facilities. Beautiful grounds, with fantastic olive trees. 3 families, total of 16 people, stayed for 1 week, wish it had been longer. Hosts were very kind, and the bread and pastries on a morning, along with the cleaning service was greatly appreciated. Hope to go back again.

Great villa to enjoy

The villa is a great place to enjoy as a group - many activities with padel- a great swimming pool - pool - barbecue - pizza oven - home cinema - jaccuzi and sauna Kitchen is a bit far from outdoors (barbecue and swimming pool but after you get used to it , it s ok . The owner Juan is incredibly at your disposal and very serious- breakfast (bakeries) offered all stay , which was very helpful and pleasant For the villa itself , pictures speak it selves , it s great !!

The best family week at this beautiful villa!!

We were looking for a villa that accommodate our large family of 19. We came across Mas Rosset and wow how lucky we were. The villa and grounds are spacious and well kept. Our children particularly loved seeing the robot lawnmowers doing their job throughout the day :-) The pool is stunning. The villa has so much space, you didn't feel on top of each other at all. Marc was fabulous from before we arrived, to the day we arrived, throughout our stay and on day of departure. Any questions we had were answered immediately. We went into Girona a couple of times, had a chef over and took the kids horse-riding. There are lots of things if you research. This property is a little hidden gem and we are very happy to have found it :-)

Amazing House and Property (and Hosts)

We were a group of eight couples, all over 50, coming from the United States. Our stay for nine nights was tremendous. We had high expectations, and our expectations were either met or exceeded. It's rare to find a house and property in this area offering so many amenities -- including eight ensuite bedrooms (all with king beds) plus an additional(!) five bathrooms. We used the pool and padel tennis court everyday (and some nights, too). Marc Rosset was a terrific host, always checking in on us and almost immediately responding to any of our needs/wants. Fresh pastries every morning and daily cleaning were greatly appreciated. Dealing with Marc and Joan on reservations, requests, recommendations, etc., was easy and always enjoyable. Air conditioning was terrific in each room and throughout the house, and there was never a shortage of hot water (even though we were 16 people all getting ready at the same time). There was just so much room for all of us to spread out and all be together, or to be in small groups, or even to be alone, whatever anyone would want. We were able to travel out everyday in a different direction and discover what the greater Girona Province has to offer -- just so many great places to see, so many great things to do, so many great places to eat. Mas Rosset was smack in the middle of it all, and a perfect jumping off point. We are so thankful to have discovered Mas Rosset and each of us hope we have the opportunity to return.

Mas Rosset has it all!!

Amazing property where guests are meticulously supported by owner & family. We used Mas Rosset as our base for a week of spectacular cycling in Gerona area, and loved the quality of every paer of the proiperty - be it the house, kitchen, BBQ area, pool or paddle court. 5 out of 5 stars!

Amazing

The property is simply amazing. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness is second to none. This is a newly built property and during the design and construction stages they have clearly put a great deal of thought into how the property will be occupied. You would normally expect one "master suite" slight better than the rest of the bedrooms which when you are a group of four families means difficult discussions about who gets the best room. In Mas Rosset all the rooms are the best - all ensuite and mix between showers and jacuzzi baths. It really is a perfect property for a large group of friends or a large family. The cleaners attended every day which was beyond expectations, and Marc and Joan also dropped by every morning with fresh pastries and bread from a local bakery. Again, beyond expectations. The house is very big and if the group wants to split into smaller groups there is plenty of space to do so. The outdoor space is also spectacular - jaw dropping in fact. Huge swimming pool with the thoughtful detail of a very shallow kids area built into the main pool. A paddle tennis court, and expansive grounds which are particularly stunning at night. It is like staying in a private boutique hotel, all to yourself. The online images do not do this property justice or convey the immense effort the owners have gone to in the planning stages, and also during the stay, to ensure their clients are happy. If we return to Spain in a large group, we will definitely come back here. It left all of us speechless!! Thank you so much March & Joan, your hospitality is second to none.

Beautiful, expansive farmhouse villa in the heart of the countryside of Catalonia

I can not speak highly enough of the experience my family and I had at Mas Rosset. Our party of 15 fit very comfortably into the villa as there are 8 spacious bedrooms, each equipped with it's own full bathroom. The pictures in the listing really don't quite capture the beauty and the expansiveness of the property. The estate is huge and immaculately manicured, the pool deck is wonderful, and the outdoor BBQ and dining station were a centerpiece of our stay. On the interior, the recently renovated villa is adorned with modern fixtures with a classic touch. The property includes all the amenities you could possibly wish for (huge kitchen set, pool toys, 6+ separate bluetooth speaker outposts, etc.). At night, the lighting on the property is stunning and creates an awesome hangout environment. We loved the location as well, which is a 8 minute drive from a wonderful small town, Banyoles (which boasts the pristine lago de Banyoles, ideal for biking and kayaking), and 15-20 minutes from downtown Girona. Finally, and most importantly, our hosts Marc and Joan were incredibly friendly and attentive. They live near by and were always on top of any minor issues that came up during our stay. Just like all the residents of Banyoles who we met during our trip, Marc and Joan are warm, family oriented people who genuinely cared for their guests and their guests' experience. My only regret is that our stay wasn't longer... my family and I are certain to return soon.
