Just three old ladies looking for some fun in the sun & sand, and we had a blast. The house was perfect-lots of big windows with great views, the decor was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. We so wished that the small bridge to get to the water had handrails. The water was crystal clear and we saw dolphins swimming every morning. Spectacular sunsets!

Perfect spot!

We loved this little house. It was plenty of room for our family of 5. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk which our teenagers loved. Very safe neighborhood and we loved our little sound-side beach. Highly recommend this place for families.

Great place especially w/ young children

The inside was perfect. Clean & spacious. Love the remodeling that was done inside. Outside, typical beach house. We enjoyed the beach area we had on the bay. Perfect area for the kids to play in the sand. Would rent again!

Very nice little house!

Very cozy little spot. Not as secluded as we expected as there is a house within 25 feet on three different sides of the house. A nice place for a home base. Close by everything on the island.

Atherton Getaway

For the first time since all of our children moved away, about 7 years, we were all able to make arrangements to take this time together. It was a delightful little home. The views from the Master bedroom and the Living, Dining area were amazing!! We had to contact the office to get another propane tank and they delivered it before we could get back from the grocery. Private little beach for hunting for shells or a quick dip in the water. Just overall great place! We will be back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such a charming and comfy cottage. Great location, beautiful views and being on the sound is like having a saltwater pool in your backyard. The only negatives for us was there was no propane in the grill and it would be great to have some instructions for the tv’s. We’ll definitely rent again!
Response from VrboOwner on 6 May, 2025
Thank you for the great feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the cottage, its charm, and the beautiful sound-side setting. We’re truly sorry the propane tank was empty; it should have been ready for your stay. Please know that we’re always available to assist and would have been more than happy to have set up a new tank and offered assistance with the TV. We love the idea about instructions for the TV and will most likely print some out for our future guests. We hope you'll be one of them! Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we look forward to your return. Paradise Beach Homes

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing visit until tornado hit. Loved location and polite management company but no one showed up after multiple calls when we got hit by a tornado are you just concerned about making money? The property got damaged
Response from VrboOwner on 15 May, 2024
Hi Susan and Garrett, Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We're so sorry about the tornado hit. Certainly a scary moment. To address your statement that no one showed up - we did show up the same day and took pictures of the property and the contractor came out the very next day but you were not home on either occasion. I can see where you'd think we didn't come by because you weren't there to see that we did but I assure you that we did. We take managing our properties and taking care of our guests very seriously. We are sorry that we missed you and we hope this won't deter you from staying with us in the future.
