Apartment Serramar is in a quiet location, only 5 minutes’ drive to Calheta beach and shops and restaurants, 30 minutes from Funchal and 40 minutes from the airport.
It is ideally located for touring the island, with easy access to the North and its fabulous landscapes via Ribeira Brava. Porto Moniz and its natural swimming pools in the East are only 35 minutes away. Big game fishing and dolphin and whale watching from the Calheta Marina. Snorkeling, diving, swimming, surfing, canoeing at Calheta beach.
The terrace of the house offers a fabulous view of the ocean and mountains.

Comfortable apartment with pool and beautiful view

The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. There is everything you need. The beds are cozy and we loved the jacuzzi bathtub. The additional shower is the second bathroom is very convenient. The parking space in the basement is great. The whole apartment is very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Further, there is a washing machine and enough space to dry the laundry. Our kid enjoyed the outdoor pool. The views from the terrasse and the pool area over the town and sea are beautiful. The whole neighborhood is calm and it's the ideal place to relax. Garry, who takes care of the place, is very kind and helpful. We had the perfect stay!

Excellent Accomodation

This property is amazing and would defnitely book again, it has so much space and everything you need. The 2 double rooms were also amazing, very comfortable beds. I would definitely rent a car next time, unlessyou enjoy walking downhill and uphill. Whilst staying there we met an amazing taxi driver called Jose, who drove us everywhere when needed, even at short notice. As it was our first time in Madeira we did not expect it to be so hilly, which we found out when walking down to the beach. It took us 20mins but downhill. As we were walking down the views were out of this world, but never even tried to walk up as I do not think my legs or even my heart would take it. There is an amazing restaurant which was about 10mins walk again downhill which we visited on numerous occassions and even walked up to the apartment. Approximately 5mins walk from the apartment uphill there is an amazing bakery which serves fresh cakes and bread. Garry the owner who met us on arrival and when we left was so helpful and Fatima was also very helpful. whenever i had a question she would always respond so quickly. Thank you All

Traumhaft schön

Wir haben unseren 2-wöchigen Urlaub in Madeira mit unseren Kindern sehr genossen. Das 100m große Appartment Serramar ist in einem Top-Zustand, sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und hat unseren Erwartungen mehr als entsprochen. Die große Terrasse mit Meer- und Bergblick war ein absolutes Highlight und hatte dank Sonnenschirm am Esstisch zu jeder Tageszeit Schatten. Unsere Kinder haben sie als Fußballfeld genutzt und viel mit der Hängematte gespielt, während wir unseren Rosé genießen konnten. Die Küche ist top ausgestattet und wir konnten mit der elektronischen Orangenpresse jeden Tag mit frischem O-Saft frühstücken. Der Gemeinschaftspoo war super mit herrlichem Meerblick. Die Vermieter waren sehr sehr nett und haben uns bei Fragen sofort geholfen. Wir empfehlen, für den ganzen Aufenthalt in jedem Fall einen Mietwagen bereits im Vorfeld zu buchen. Spontan bei Ankunft war es leider am Flughafen sehr teuer. Der Sandstrand und ein großer Supermarkt zum Einkaufen sind mit dem Auto in 5min leicht erreichbar, zu Fuß sind es ca. 20min (mit Kindern länger). Es gibt auf halber Strecke aber eine sehr schöne Abkürzung entlang an einem kleinen Wasserlauf und Bananenplantagen, auf der man viele Geckos trifft. Der Aufstieg zurück ist mit Einkäufen allerdings etwas anstrengend. Die Wohnung hat eine gute Ausgangslage zu fast allen Highlights von Madeira (nur den Osten haben wir nicht geschafft): Toll waren die Wanderungen zum Risco Wasserfall und den 25 Quellen (Levada das 25 Fontes), Baden in den Naturbecken in Porto Moniz, die spektakulären Ausblicke über den Wolken auf dem Pico de Ariero, Funchal mit Gondelfahrt nach Monte und ein Besuch in der Grotte Sao Vicente. Die Vegetation ist traumhaft schön. Wir würden in jedem Fall wieder nach Madeira fliegen.

Ruim en modern appartement

Dit appartement is zeer ruim en modern ingericht. De keuken heeft onder andere een oven en magnetron. Er is een bijkeuken met een wasmachine. Er zijn twee badkamers met ieder een wc, een met een wat kleine douche en de andere met een jacuzzi. Een heel groot balkon aan de voorzijde en een grote buitenplaats aan de achterzijde. Eigen parkeerplaats in de parkeerkelder, de ingang is niet heel breed. Mooi, gedeeld zwembad. Een restaurant, snackbar en bakker op loopafstand (wel heuvel op/af!). Met de auto binnen tien minuten naar het strand/haven van Calheta, waar ook een paar restaurantjes zijn en een supermarkt. Bij aankomst werd alles heel goed uitgelegd, ook is een informatiemap aanwezig. Goed werkende WiFi.
