This 5th floor unit has been freshly painted and refurbished, has new luxury vinyl through out with a sofa sleeper and chairsin the living room. There are flat screen TV's in the living room, beach side master bedroom and both guest bedrooms. You will enjoy the amazing view from the gulf front balcony just off of the living room. Sunswept is situated directly on the sugar-white beach that separates you from the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This Orange Beach condo is just six miles east of Gulf Shores, Alabama. You will find modern shopping facilities directly across the street. Churches, 10 first class golf courses, and fishing are only a short drive away.

Great home away from home

We enjoyed our time at Orange Beach and this location was fantastic! They did a terrific job on updating this condo and it had everything we needed. We felt right at home!

2025 Orange beach vacay

Property was clean and beautiful in a perfect location on the beach. We could walk across the street to Walmart, Rouse's market grocery, souvenir shops and a couple of restaurants. I also appreciated the blackout blinds in the bedrooms. There was plenty of parking so we could come and go without worrying about being able to find a parking spot when we got back. We also loved the large pool on red flag days. The pool was fully in the shade by 4 p.m. every day. The only thing I would change would be to add either a recliner or another chair with an ottoman for more seating in the living room and additional bathroom linens.

We had a few hiccups when we got there but the property managers were real nice and resolved them quickly! The pictures on listing aren't totally up to date! We would definitely stay again!

Great family condo

This was a perfect condo for a big family. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms made it easier to get showers after beach and pool activities. Would definitely recommend staying there in the future. That being said, I saw a few reviews saying that the condo was dirty, and the furniture was worn. The condo was clean and the furniture wasn’t new but it was nice and the price was great. We were very happy and will definitely be back.

This condo was wonderful! Kitchen is stocked fully. I was surprised by how stocked everything was. From pots and pans, to random utensils, and tons of plates, bowls… Etc. it truly had everything we needed. Having three full bathrooms was a lifesaver for us! With seven of us there (me, my boyfriend and our 5 kids), we found the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to be a necessity. The condo also supplied many blankets and pillows. They gave us a good Headstart with several towels and washcloths in each bathroom. The condo was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each bed and mattress felt the same. They weren’t overly firm or overly soft… Our backs felt great every morning waking up. Location was perfect as we found ourselves across from the Walmart, which was very convenient. Property management was on top of everything as the back sliding glass door handle was broken when we arrived, but they were already notified and had someone come out on our first day to fix it. I’d definitely recommend this condo to anyone wanting to stay on the beach. It’s positioned so that you get the beach views from the back porch and one of the bedrooms. It was perfect.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am most disappointed in my stay last week in unit 508. I have been a repeat visitor to Sun Swept, and stayed in many different units in the past 12 years. This unit was extremely run down and in need of repair. But most disappointing is the level of customer service. The unit was dirty upon arrival, with food left on the floor, a pacifier in the track of the sliding balcony door and dirt in the door; the stove didn't work properly; there were NO dish cloths to wash dishes with, and when I asked management for some none were provided. The stove was fixed the day I reported it but the burners still didn't work properly. I paid a cleaning fee when I rented the unit, and feel that was a sham. I had to clean up after the previous renter. The Coastal Properties website advertised 30% off your next stay if you signed up for their email ads, so I signed up. Who doesn't want 30% off? When I emailed about the promotion, three times, I didn't receive a response. When I called, I was told the promotion didn't exist. I took a screen shot of it and showed management upon arrival last week, and was told they didn't know who put that out, but it wouldn't be honored. Sadly, this was my last stay with Sun Swept. The only positive: the bed in the first bedroom was comfortable. And the view from the balcony is nice, if you can overlook the open areas where it is worn out on the overhang and looks like it is going to crumble away.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the condo was okay. There was things we didn’t like: floors were dirty (we wore socks or shoes the whole time), stacks of leftover tiles and broken light bulbs in bathrooms, no rugs so there was an echo(we bought a cheap one from Walmart and it did the trick). Hot water tank was very small if 2 ppl showered, there wasn’t any hot water for the rest of the crew. Blinds in living room on sliding glass door were falling off and in very bad shape at the bottom(dirty and gross). Needs updated and a new cleaning crew if you are going to charge $$$$ like that. We will look elsewhere next time.

The location is wonderful. Across the street is grocery shopping and misc shops, the deck overlooks the ocean and pool. The condo however is depreciating. The garbage disposal did not work. The microwave was held together with tape (yes, tape), the bathroom towel holder was in the middle of a patch repair with white, unpainted plaster where the towel rack once was, nail holes all over the walls were pictures once were, furniture/tables were stored in the closets, only 4 hangers for clothes in total for all 3 bedrooms. The floors were SO dirty, I spent my first day just cleaning because I couldn't take the filth. The silverware all needed to be washed before we could use it. There were no coffee filters, salt/pepper or commonly used household items. The unit was even missing one of the kitchen chairs. The area rug in the livingroom and the furniture / ottoman are filthy. We covered them with a towel to sit on them. The windows in the master bedroom are trash. Cannot even enjoy the view from the master bedroom. These need to be replaced as the seal has broken. We couldn't open the window for an ocean breeze or listen to the waves at night. Crazy how this unit is in disrepair.

Very worn mismatched furniture, poor window treatments, unfinished patched and moldy walls/ceilings in bathrooms. WiFi did not work upon arrival, and wasted several hours with techs until it was fixed the next morning. Lights not working at entry was reported but had no follow-up from staff that could not be fixed while awaiting part until I re-contacted them.

POOR CONDO 508

I stay at Sun Swept every year, but this time this condo needed a lot of attention. We had the management come and spray for bugs that we saw. The overall appearance was that the furniture was old and run down, the rug was so dirty it needed to be thrown away, and many items needed to be replaced or fixed. I'm sorry to say that we won't stay here again.

The sunswept condominium room 508 was a great location for restaurants and stores but the room was in desperate need of renovation. Light bulbs need replaced, commode in middle bedroom ran continuously, lamp in middle bedroom is an electrocution waiting to happen, gfci on balcony doesn't work, chairs in living room need replaced, mold in bathrooms and a new paint job would help

We have been coming to Sunswept for many years and just feel it needs a little care. On our last day two huge roaches were found in one bedroom and living room.

Wouldn’t recommend!!

The balcony view is the only nice thing going on here. The check in process was easy and office staff was nice. But the condo was dirty when we arrived, stained furniture and dirty floors as well. Every mattress in this place is like 5” thick and so uncomfortable.. the dining table has 2 broken chairs that they obviously know about but haven’t replaced. Mold in the master bathroom. Honestly, I am astounded at the quality of this place for the price I paid. This is by far the worst condo I’ve ever stayed at. “Free wifi” that doesn’t even work is also highly annoying. 10/10 would not recommend.
