Rural East Sussex retreat.

Beautifully appointed small house in quite street, makes this the ideal spot for day trips inthe beautiful local countryside.

A great stay in an amazing house

This places is the best place I have stayed hand down. The owner made us fell very welcomed . I will recommend this place to family and friends . Five stars all around .

Annual Holiday and Visiting Family

Excellent accommodation, comfortable, clean, roomy, attractive internal layout furnishings facilities and all fully equipped, with a lovely external garden and patio to sit and relax in. We had a wonderful stay, and host Fiona's attention to every detail and need is rare, in pursuit of perfection and inclusion. Perfect for us, we will be booking again.

A lovely spot in East Sussex

We stayed here for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. Fiona is an excellent host and her house is really beautiful and well equipped. There were fresh flowers from her garden to greet us. We wanted to do walking, castles and gardens and this is a great base for all that. Highly recommended.

Very relaxing

We stayed at this lovely house for our summer holidays. Fiona had prepared the house very well and gave us a very warm welcome. Everything was perfect so we had a very relaxing stay. We felt like home. Many thanks to Fiona. Hope we could come back one day.

Wonderfully equipped 2 bedroom cottage

Fiona was a super host and has equipped her cottage to the fullest. I don't think I could find a problem even if I tried. Well decorated , comfortable furniture, great kitchen appliances. Would definitely stay again. Fiona really cares about her guests.

Fiona is a great, very friendly, easy-going host who gave us a lot of welcome info before our stay. Communication was always easy and quick. When we arrived we were astounded at the perfection of the holiday home. It is really a home, everything that you could think of is available and of high quality. All you have to bring is your own daily fresh food and drink. Spices, coffee, tea etc are all there already. Everything was spotlessly clean as well. Parking is very easy, right in front of the house, as in the pictures. The house is in a dead end road, so very quiet. At the back you only hear the birds. At the front you have a great view over the Sussex Downs. If we want to explore the area again, we will certainly be back!

Fiona met us at the property she was extremely attentive and thoughtful. She made th bungalow very welcoming adding extra supplies like a box of chocolate wine and nosh! We got a new minibus service which takes you 13 miles wherever you want. We also found local taxis very helpful. Absolutely lovely bungalow quiet and nice neighbours. Thank you Fiona.

Best place ever for us

Fiona was super responsive before, during and after our stay in her perfectly equipped house. Lovely walks in the fields around and over to local pubs. She setup a welcome package and special decorations to help us celebrate our anniversary. Fantastic bed and shower and bath. Luxury everywhere. Cannot say enough good things about this rental. Need a car to get around but grocery stores do deliver we were told. We went to the beach, castles, forest walks, field walks, cinema in Uckfield (very good state-of-the art digital screen) and just relaxed. Very good restaurant for gluten-free meals at picture house restaurant in Uckfield. Kitchen is fully equipped and easy to cook in. Did not use heat so cannot comment on this. Beautiful sunsets in the garden as house is on a hill so can see the countryside. Lots of windows so very bright everywhere.

Absolutely stunning

Magnifique

Très très bonne location. Idéal pour se reposer, il ne manque rien c’est impeccable. Grande propreté. Vue sur le jardin superbe. Y séjourner plus longtemps que deux jours est une bonne idée.
