Bahari House is in north Sea Ranch, 300 yards from Shell Beach, five miles from Gualala, and about 55 miles from Mendocino. Enjoy access to the Sea Ranch pools and parks, and The Sea Ranch golf links are 3 miles away. Shell Beach is an easy few-minute walk away!

There are four bedrooms in a suite layout (pun intended), four desks, fiber internet, a top-floor kitchen/dining/living room, board games, puzzles, coffee bar, and a central family room with a 65-inch TV downstairs. With the Bahari House login, enjoy complimentary TV & movies through YouTube TV, Netflix, and Disney+.

Great stay

We had the best weekend at the house. The house was clean, organized and well documented how to use everything and where to find everything you need. The views were amazing and a quick walk to the beach. Will stay here again!

Great place for a Sea Ranch getaway

The property is located close to the beach and is just a 5 minute drive from the Sea Ranch Links and 10 minutes from Gualala. The location is excellent and the house was well prepared for our arrival. Will definitely check if this is available for my next Sea Ranch getaway.

Perfect location.

Wonderful Sea Ranch home for a large party

The house easily accommodated our party of 8 adults. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining and common areas were spacious enough for a large group. The location is also ideal as it's just steps from Shell Beach with easy bluff trail access to other nearby beaches. The large hot tub was also nice. We enjoyed our stay and would book this house again.

Great location, comfortable house.

We loved the hot tub and the magnificent view of the ocean. The house was comfortable and had a great upstairs space for our family to hang out together. The furnishings / decor are a little old and outdated and we had some small issues with appliances (e.g., the dishwasher is missing a cover for the soap dish) but that didn't bother us when we were soaking up the wonderful views and hiking around the nearby trails. Overall, we loved our stay, and would happily come back!

Dreamy!

We stay in Sea Ranch at least once a year. This was our favorite property so far! It was decorated so tastefully and fully stocked with everything we needed. We had a group of two adults and five teenagers. The hot tub was wonderful and there was lots of games for us to play. The place is more beautiful in person, and the views were to die for . We saw at least five deer every day in the front yard, tons of quails, bunny rabbits, and hawks We can’t wait to come back here again next year!

Great stay, house was perfect

This home was perfect for our group. It was actually better than the online pictures Convey. The view from the kitchen was awesome, and the kitchen is well stocked. We are a bunch of chefs, so that is saying a lot! The knives were even decent (but I still brought my own! Haha) I normally bring my own kitchen supplies, pots, pans, etc. but this was completely unnecessary with this home. I would definitely rent this place again. It’s a stones throw from the beach and seal viewing area. Downstairs are all the beds and bathrooms and upstairs the living area and kitchen. A very comfortable stay for the 6 of us.

Excellent Sea Ranch Home

This is a lovely home that has been completely updated and refreshed. It is bright, cheerful and comfortable. The kitchen is very well stocked and organized. It has great white water views for a home that is not on the bluff. Only 2 minute walk to Shell beach. We would appreciate a king size bed but the queen was comfortable. We would also appreciate it if the wood boxes for the fireplace were stocked but I know that is next level. :) I have stayed in a dozen Sea Ranch homes and this was so new and fresh and we really appreciated how comfortable it was. I highly recommend this home.

Leave the car in the Driveway

We let our California adult children choose the Sea Ranch location for our annual Spring Break celebration, located between our son’s East Bay home and our daughter’s Humboldt home base. The sparkling clean beach house was filled with everything we needed to cook, eat, play, soak, and rest after hours spent on the paths and beaches only a stone’s throw distance from our home away from home. A special treat was the educational value of the Seal Nursery docent program, providing quiet monitoring and unobtrusive learning experiences for all ages.The Sea Ranch residents were uniformly friendly and tolerant of our temporary invasion of their Happy Place. We would’ve enjoyed a grill, but understand the need to protect the peaceful environment that defines Sea Ranch.

Wonderful location and Vasca is great to work with. This is an older property and needs some attention. Very 80's. This wasn't reflected in its online presence. Owners would be wise to update.

Great Location - Average Home

The location is fantastic. A couple of hundred yards from one of the best beaches and a short walk to another. Views are good and the constant sound of waves crashing is awesome. The home itself is pretty average in layout and appointment. While the home has all you need, this is not a particularly updated home. It feels a bit like a prior era. Dishes, glasses and cooking stuff is plentiful but idiosyncratic and dated. The home is reverse floor plan which is good at Sea Ranch. The downstairs is basically two identical suites with a rather large, wide hallway in between. Kind of wasted space in a way. There is a lower, back deck with a hot tub. Hot tub is nice. There is an upper level deck, small, facing the ocean.

Not what it used to be

We've loved Sea Ranch for over 40 years and this house for over 10. Vacasa however, leaves much to be desired. Local office doesn't answer when guests call the number left in the house specifically to answer questions. If you're going to charge this much, invest more. The house was not as clean as it used to be under different management.

Almost perfect

The location cannot be beat. The sea beckons you to walk for miles along the Bluffs trail which is steps from the home. The home is a perfect size for two families and the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need. The unfortunate downside is the fact that the hot tub motor could not be manually turned off, and it is located just outside the window of one of the bedrooms. It did not allow us to sleep through the night. Once this issue is fixed, we will definitely stay here again.

A wonderful home away from home - everything you need!

We loved our stay at Bahari House! Everything we needed was there and easy to find, along with a few unexpected surprises: a larger and more modern TV than what is shown in the photos and virtual tour on the site -- it had access to streaming (Netflix, Disney+, etc), and it was more centrally located to the couches which made for nice family viewing at the end of the day. The internet worked great for a family with multiple devices, and we were able to do needed zoom meetings downstairs while the TV was streaming upstairs without any issues. The kiddo was stoked to find beach toys downstairs and the adults loved the more comfortable folding chairs to bring to the beach. Fully stocked kitchen was great -- we made our own meals for the entire week and had everything we needed. We also appreciated that the dishwasher is ultra-silent. We were excited to see stocked firewood upon arrival as we were concerned about warmth this time of year, but the house (especially the living quarters upstairs) stayed very comfortable and we didn't need to make use of the wood burning stove. The proximity to Shell Beach was wonderful, a very short walk and the beach was never crowded -- maybe 5-6 people there every time we went. Loved hiking and biking on all the nearby trails and flat quiet streets. The entire neighborhood was so calm and peaceful -- with multiple dear sightings every day. The hot tub was amazing - hot and clean and we used it every day to rest after our daily jaunts. We just loved the location of this well maintained home, and can't wait to return. And next time, we hope to bring friends!!! The layout of the downstairs rooms (2 queen bedrooms, 2 rooms with bunkbeds), 3 bathrooms will make for a very comfortable stay for two families. Highly recommend this property - a real gem!

Fun and relaxation

Our family has stayed at this house many times in the past. We love the location and the layout of the house. This summer the upgrades (new beds, couches, dishwasher....) were a welcome surprise for all of us. As always, we had a wonderful time staying at this house, thank you for sharing it with us. What a weekend!

Bahari House is everything and more. Views. Walks. Riding bikes. Hot tubbing. Morning coffee watching the waves crash and smelling the salty sea breeze. House was fully stocked with all the family (2 adults, 2 kids 5 and 12) needed for a great long weekend. Enjoy!
