About this property

Take advantage of the low cost Kid & Pet-Friendly & Flexible Cancellation Policy

This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home with 2,450 square feet, has a two car garage, a fenced yard, a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room, family room, bbq, and secure wi-fi. Del Sur has several pools and parks within a two block distance. This home is easily accessible to both the I-5 and the 15 without having to worry about the noise. North County San Diego is so close to all of the fun San Diego activities, including the popular Del Mar Race Track, Del Mar beach, the Del Mar Fair, the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Polo and several other popular tourist activities. Dogs may be approved on a case by case basis. I look forward to hearing from you.

San Diego local taxes of 11.05% are not applied after a stay of 30 or 31 nights or more depending on the month.

All of the bedrooms now have Queen size beds. Please disregard photo of third bedroom. This bed was replaced in March of 2023 with a Queen size bed.

Due to Covid 19 we have implemented an enhanced cleaning and disinfectant protocol. The home is thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected. The check-in and check-out process is contact free.

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful home while we in town for a horse show in Del Mar. The location was great, the home was very clean with lots of amenities and the neighborhood was cute and quiet.

Beautiful quiet home and neighborhood

This is a lovely, well-equipped home in a quiet family neighborhood. Everything was great but the things we liked the most were 1) the beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and hiking trails right by the house - we love to walk and bike so this was perfect for us; 2) the lovely outdoor area which is private and shaded; 3) air conditioning that worked well (not that common in the San Diego area); 4) how well-stocked the home is - everything is provided; 5) proximity to the beach - it is an easy 20 minute drive to nice beach areas; and 6) dog-friendly - we have a senior dog that we hate to leave and really appreciate being able to bring her with us. The host, Cheryl, provided all details and was great to deal with. We hope to return!

Beautiful centralized location and spacious, clean home.

This home was perfect for our family getaway. Home was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of room for relaxing as well as great space in kitchen for any meals you choose to eat in. Bedrooms are upstairs so if you are traveling with kids, they can go up to bed and you can continue your evening downstairs. What made this location even better was the fabulous property owner. She could not have been better to work with. Friendly and accommodating. The location was also excellent. Very centrally located for our needs. We wanted to spend time in San Diego, Ramona, and along the coast. Home is located very closed Safari Park, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo (mustn't miss that!). The neighborhood pools were clean and never crowded and the play areas were nice. Overall we would definitely stay here again on another trip.

Very nice house in a terrific neighborhood

We rented this house for a month. It’s a good house and the neighborhood is perfect. You would have to look long and hard to find a better neighborhood. It’s safe, friendly, scenic, and perfect for walking our dog. There are beautiful grassy, well tended parks just a couple of blocks in either direction as you leave the back yard. The garage is behind the house in an alley with easy access. If you have visitors they can park on the street in front of the house. The house is nicely decorated but we would strongly suggest that the owners get rid of the big footstool in the family room and replace it with a real coffee table because there is no place to set down a drink in there. There are tons of bedding and towels but we had to buy a mattress pad to replace the filthy one in one of the bedrooms. The maids should have reported that to the property manager. Nevertheless, we highly recommend the house.

Perfect location for a family

This was a fantastic stay. We stayed nearly 12 weeks at this property and Cheryl was an excellent host. Very responsive and the house was exactly as stated. Plenty of space for two adults and child. The location was excellent and close to everything. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely home in a fantastic friendly community

Our family had a great extended stay at the home. The landlord was extremely helpful and responsive. The home is kept up well and very clean. The home is also well stocked and furnished. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Excellent, well maintained home in an excellent location.

We (6 adults) spent a wonderful week. Cheryl was very helpful prior to our arrival with suggestions and advice. She even provided fresh flowers for our arrival. The home is very comfortable and easily accommodated our group.The large dining table was the perfect venue for us to recount our daily experiences and the bar b cue was perfect. The home is located within a community with vast walking trails and parks. We were close multiple grocery stores and restaurants. It is a quick trip to the beach and San Diego Wild Animal Park. An excellent experience that we hope to make an annual event. Thank you Cheryl.

Lovely home to spend a vacation with family

Cheryl's home was a great place to stay with my sister and her family, who were visiting from the Chicago area. There was plenty of room for all, with comfortable places to relax. The yard would have been a great place for our dog. We wish we brought her with us. The doggie doors would have been perfect size for her and it wasn't too hot. Cheryl's recommendations were right on in terms of the activities and restaurants. We felt like we were able to enjoy so much of San Diego. The kids enjoyed the games and TV in the Family room. We loved cooking in the beautiful and well-stocked kitchen and on the propane grill. Cheryl was extremely helpful and gracious in her emails. We would recommend this home.

Beautiful Home in Quiet Area

We stayed at this rental for a week in May of 2016 and it was fabulous! The house is big and very homey - it has a nice comfortable feel. It was clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. I definitely consider it a home away from home :) I loved that there was a bedroom for both our kids and were able to take our puppy with us. We all had privacy and quiet and it was very nice not being all crowded into a hotel room together. The pools and parks are very close by so it's very nice when staying with active children and our puppy. It has a beautiful huge kitchen and nice area to watch tv and relax. It was nice to not have to eat every meal out. The owner is very nice and accommodating, helping with any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a new vacation rental. We love it here and all that San Diego has to offer. Now we would like to share our home with vacationers so that they too can enjoy San Diego, at least part time. :)

Why they chose this property

Del Sur is in North County San Diego and so close to so many of the San Diego attractions and well within 20-30 minutes of everything to do. If you're planning on drinking while in the Gaslamp district of San Diego I highly recommend using Uber, which is widely available in this area. If there's something special you need, just ask and I'll do my best to accommodate. North County San Diego has many hiking and biking trails.

We chose this property because of the location and the easy accessibility to the highways, and all the other activities San Diego has to offer.
