Peace and quiet in Pisciotta

Filippa and Alex were wonderful hosts. The apartment is surrounded by a beautiful garden with fantastic views and sunsets. You can walk into the mountains from the house but need a car for everything else. A lovely stay - thank you.

Very welcoming

Filippa and Alex are so kind and helpful . They have the most beautiful and relaxing garden with stunning views of sea and coastline, and are also in the Cilento National Park. Beach 15 minutes away, very clean . Pisciotta town very attractive and accessible by train ( and car hire available from town- necessary getting to/from the house). But most of all an extremely welcoming stay from very special hosts

A slice of paradise in Cilento

Staying with Filippa and Alceste was the highlight of our trip and one of the most beautiful experiences we have had travelling. Their house lies peacefully perched more than 400 m over sea level and offers breath-taking views over the year-round lush coast of Cilento and the Palinuro peninsula. All framed by the magnificent and meticulously well-kept garden of the passionate owners. As Cilento is a national park, you will in many parts experience serene nature, limited exploitation and calm but also closeness to lovely beaches and charming towns such as Pisciotta. The apartment was truly spotlessly clean, has a small kitchenette; perfect for breakfasts and quick lunches, an en-suite bathroom and two sets of tables and chairs. One in the shade and one further out in order to fully enjoy the view along with an espresso. From here we visited several close-by beaches and towns and even rented road bikes in Marina de Camerota for a day tour. We enjoyed many lovely conversations with Filippa and Alceste and we would be happy to return to this little slice of paradise. Grazie mille ancora e alla prossima! Un abbraccio, Simon & Nina

Einfach wunderbar

Ein gut eingerichtetes Apartment mit allem, was man braucht; eine wunderbar bepflanzte, überdachte Terrasse mit gemütlichen Möbeln (auf den Fotos noch nicht eingerichtet) und tollem Blick; und ein riesiger, wunderschöner Garten - ein ehemaliger Weinberg-, mit mehreren eingerichteten Sitzplätzen, eine Aussicht schöner als die andere. Wir haben Flavia und Alessandro als sehr, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber erlebt, die gleichzeitig sehr auf unsere Privatsphäre geachtet haben. Was wir auch geschätzt haben: die Lage ist sehr ruhig, kein Straßenlärm. Und es gibt schöne Wandermöglichkeiten, direkt vom Haus weg. Wir wollen wiederkommen :-)

Beautiful view and surroundings with lovely hosts

This is a beautiful room with a view to die for. The terraced gardens provide a floral perfume as you sit on your veranda and exploring them reveals a variety of places to sit and enjoy the views of Palinuro. Negotiating the steep, narrow winding road up to Pietralita can be nerve-wracking if you're not used to such driving but it's well worth it.
