Desert Retreat with Pool, Spa, and Total Privacy 3 Bed, 2 Bath

A clean-lined, elegant, understated getaway with 3 bedrooms (3 California King beds, and 1 sofa bed in the Living Room) with 2 bathrooms close to everything you could ever want in the desert. Private heated pool and spa, mountain adjacent with great views and plenty of places to lounge.

Feel free to reach out to me via text or phone if you have any questions about possible events and dates.

The house is very centrally located and there are great restaurants, trails and fun biking routes nearby to discover.

In addition to the many restaurants and the movie theater within walking distance, there are lots of great outdoor activities (golf, tennis, etc.).

In terms of sporting options in addition to our pool and spa, we have both a Bocce Court and Horseshoe Pit on the property.

This house is ideal for long term stays of one month (31 days) or more.

One of the best VRBO stays ever. Great location, owner was super helpful, and house was as depicted in the app. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back.

Communication was excellent. We were grateful for an early check in. House is in an older neighborhood and inside is starting to get worn by guests. We also had the unfortunate event of having the power go out during out stay. It was fixed within 4 hours so thankfully we didn't need to find another place to stay. We had difficulty with the internet not restarting after the power failure but eventually we got it figured out. My son accidentally left his stuffed duck behind and they have told me they will ship it to me so I hope they will be able to do that. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the horse shoes and bocce ball pits.

We really enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful home it had all the house essentials very clean and quiet area, my kids loved the pool and everything was easy-to-use check in was easy the host was nice and answered all my questions i would definitely stay here again

La Quinta Stay

The property is very well maintained and cared for. The site has everything thing you need for your stay including a steamer which came in handy. The backyard was perfect for the kids who stayed in the pool from sun up to sun down.

This place is spectacular!

As soon as I saw this listing, I knew it would be the perfect place for my daughter and her friends to stay and celebrate her 18th birthday for the weekend in the Palm Desert area. The house is beautiful and has everything you will need. It is close to everything but feels quiet and secluded. Communication and responses from the property manager were prompt and very helpful. 10/10 - this will be our first choice the next time we want to stay in the area.

Comfortable desert home

Kitchen was extremely well stocked, knives were probably the best we have ever had, toaster was very mediocre, overall interior of house was fine. Outdoor space was great, fantastic pool. No outdoor dining table was a negative. Communication with property manager was outstanding as we had some issues with pool and spa controls.

The house was in ok condition, but was a bit of a disappointment. The furniture was dusty and there were junky area rugs everywhere. The bedroom rugs looked like they needed a good cleaning. Speaking of the bedrooms, only the primary was decently appointed. Two did not have closets and only the primary had bedside lamps for two people. Even if there's not enough room for table lamps put up some wall sconces! A bedroom without lamps for reading is a very uncomfortable bedroom. Oddly there was no wall art or decor in the bedrooms. Just blank walls except for a mirror. The living areas were more inviting and the kitchen was well equipped. A lot of effort was put into the outside amenities (pool, spa, covered seating, fire pit, bocce, horseshoes). That was very nice. But the host's manager had to come reset the spa remote because it didn't work. We paid extra for spa heating so that was frustrating but he added days to make up for the 2 days it didn't work. Also needed assistance because the TV was inadvertently not set up to provide basic cable. The location in a residential area off a major thoroughfare was very convenient. Sun worshippers should be aware that the hill next door casts the pool area in full shade pretty early in the afternoon. Our guests enjoyed their time with us so that was the most important thing.

Fantastic Stay

Property was clean, well stocked and updated. Bedrooms were great with comfortable beds. Location is excellent as it's within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Star of the show is the backyard. Great pool and fantastic areas to lay in the sun or escape from it. Minor negative item is the property description. House has 4 bedrooms not 3. The outside cameras should be mentioned (backyard one turned off for our stay) as well as the sound monitoring (not recording) devices installed outside and inside. Overall had a wonderful stay and hope to visit the property again.

Great Stay in La Quinta

This is a great location with close access to many services and a 5 minute drive to Old Town La Quinta. Kitchen was well stocked and outside area is very nice and expansive. Could use a bit more storage options and night lamps in bedrooms. But we loved our time here and will likely be back.

Fabulous!!

The pictures do not do this place justice!! We opened the front door and walked in to Shangri-La and magical getaway at the base of the beautiful hillside. Plenty of room for all of our friends and family of glorious gorgeous dining room and that backyard area is a dream! Feeling so happy and relaxed after our time thank you so much!!

Perfect family getaway house.

House was spacious and worked perfectly for 7 adults and 2 children. Pool and spa were the highlight of the trip and they received a lot of use. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. We appreciated the kitchen and laundry appliances. We played a lot of bocce. Really nice location. Liked having the mountain beside the place. The owner was proactive and responsive. Clear instructions on how to use the spa, access cushions, TV etc. Close enough to the centre of La Quinta, but plenty of grocery stores nearby. Easy access everywhere, whether to Palm Springs, Indian Wells, La Quinta, or Joshua Tree. Very close to the tennis centre at Indian Wells. We would return in a heartbeat.

6-week stay in La Quinta

My wife and I and our 7guests (2-4 at a time) thoroughly enjoyed the house. The online description and pictures are fully accurate (although the house has 4 bedrooms while the write-up says 3 in some places). All of the bedrooms are comfortable with excellent large beds. Storage in the bedrooms is adequate (closets or dressers, but not both). The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans and utensils. Appliances appear quite new. The bathrooms are small but clean, well-lit and the showers great. Plenty of hot water.Perhaps the best feature of the property is the large yard. It has multiple seating areas, a pool and hot tub and a large barbecue. The nearby rock cliff (about 100 feet away to the west) provides a dramatic and very attractive background. That rock wall does block the sun starting in the mid-afternoon (around 2:30 PM in February), which is probably a blessing given the warm temperatures. The owners provide twice-weekly pool and spa cleaning and yard maintenance.The location is outstanding. The house is close to Hwy 111 and to Washington Street, both of which provide an abundance of stores and restaurants, but far enough away that guests hear no traffic noise. The neighborhood safe, quiet and attractive. We would definitely rent this house again.

Home Away From Home

My husband and I stayed in this fantastic desert retreat for 5 weeks. The house is beautiful and so accommodating for family gatherings. The grocery stores are an easy walk away. The large yard and pool were amazing. We loved the view of the mountains! Skip was always accessible if we had any questions. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Property immaculate and spacious. Manager responsive to issues. Neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. Pets welcome and area is safe for pet walking. Plenty of things to do on property…and close to restaurants, shopping, theater, golf , gyms, and spas.

Great HOT stay

New grand born in LA so came to desert to get away and all be under 1 roof! It was hot but pool was cool and house was great to relax and enjoy. Skip was great with communication when needed. Great visit with family and meeting the new grand! Did I mention it was HOT!

La Quinta Family Vacation

The house was amazing! We were in the pool all day and then when it cooled down we played the horseshoes and bocci game in the yard! Would definitely go back again and the owner Skip was available for anything. Great trip with family and friends!
