Spacious Apartment Winter Gardens with WiFi and freeview English tv

This three twin bedded apartment sleeps 6 ,This leads onto a spacious balcony which receives sun from morning until night. A good sized kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, hob and oven, toaster and washing machine and all requirements for 8 persons.
Bedroom 1 has an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, there is also a separate shower room. In the lounge there is a television CD, cassette and radio. Do to the problems we have had with SKY TV we now have BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV 3, Channel 4 there is still a chance that these will freeze this is out of our control. Linen and towels are provided and we now have a travel cot available free of charge.
Short 3/4 night breaks are £125 per night due to the costs of cleaning

We had a fantastic stay. The apartment was beautifully maintained, and had plenty of room for us to relax and unwind. The layout was perfect for our stay, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches throughout. The location was ideal; quiet and peaceful, yet close to shops, restaurants, and bars. The heated pool was an added bonus! Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout. We felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. Perfect for families; I highly recommend this apartment if you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay!

Lovely break with family

Great apartment which suited our needs perfectly. Good location, close to plenty of places to eat and socialise.Always easy to communicate with owner both before during and after our stay. I am more than happy to recommend to others.

Great accommodation that ticked our main requirements of a property on that area.

A very quiet nice area which we were expecting so this was fine. Apartment was great and ticked the boxes for all our requirements. The main areas are a short taxi ride away which suited our teenage children as there is not a lot for teenagers in the area. Complex lovely and food onsite very good and reasonable. Would definitely go back but would hire a car next time as a good base.

March 2010 for a week

We recently stayed here (March 2010) for a week and took a one year old and a three year old. The accomodation was spacious, clean and great for the kids. There was enough room so that we didn't keep each other awake and the children's pool was an added bonus. The weather was continually hot and we really enjoyed the local area. Although naturally it caters for tourists, we were not touted or nattered by people and nothing was too loud and raucous. In fact people were extremely friendly. We particularly loved the 5 min walk to the marina and sea front. This was somewhat unspoilt and quiet with a small but varied selection of restaurants overlooking the sea and marina. This was very pretty at sunset. There were also some very good coastal walks which again were very picteresque (and doable with a pram) We would like to particularly thank John who was relaxed and friendly about things and most helpful if we had any questions or issues. We would certainly visit again (once we have lost the few extra pounds as the local eateries were so good)

La comunicación con John fue súper fluida, fue muy atento y estuvo pendiente de todo. Gracias John :) Además las personas encargadas del chef in y check out fueron muy atentas, cordiales y estuvieron siempre dispuestas a contestar preguntas y a atender cualquier inquietud de mi parte. Excelente :) El piso de John está muy bien. Es cómodo, espacioso, bonito, está bien equipado. El balcón es un plus, además de los dos baños. Está ubicado en un sitio muy acogedor, familiar y agradable. Casi no salimos de la piscina XD Buenísima El paseo marítimo es espectacular. En resumen: era justo lo que buscaba. Lo único de lo que me arrepiento es de no haberme quedado más tiempo allí, pero pienso y quiero volver. Así que hasta la próxima :)

Dear Maria,thank you for your review,the apartment had been unoccupied for 18 months due to covid restrictions ,it was unfortunate that you were the first people to occupy the apartment after we reopened.We are sorry that you had a few problems.Unfortunately you had problems with the fridge ,Adele did her best to put it right l wouldn’t have expected a new fridge to not work that was out of control they replaced it as quickly as they.If you thought it wasn’t clean enough for you ,again I am sorry and l will speak to the cleaners about it,This is the first time I have heard that you had problems with the Wi Fi.What was the problem with the equipment and appliances? I would have thought 2 large tables are sufficient for the apartment.there are at least 12 chairs in the apartment so that should have been enough for you we have 8 people in before and not had any complaints Regards John

Great Locatio

Large, light three bedroom property. Excellent location,, near sea front, and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The Winter Gardens is a well presented complex with a great bar/restaurant which often has live entertainment. Swimming pool and relaxing area are very well cared for.

Lovely large apartment in a great location. Cuttlery needs updating. Owner great though.

Ideal for a large family. Close to shops and restaurants and a 10 min walk to golf. Owner is very nice. Pool is more than adequate.

Just What The Doctor Ordered

Had a very relaxing holiday here in Tenerife. Location made it a speedy journey to and from the airport. Apartment is very airy and comfortable. Directions to apartment from owner were easy to follow. John was very helpful on the phone. Used apartment as a base to go wandering on the island. Ideally situated for this. Only issue we had was beyond the owners control. There were quite a few families who either couldn't read the pool rules or decided they were above the rules. It was the old German trick of reserving beds by putting towels on them early doors. And the offenders were ALL British! This aside, we would recommend this apartment.

Great location in Golf del Sur. Excellent apartment, clean and comfortable. The complex is suited to grey haired bowlers but the location makes it great for anyone. The owner is easy to deal with and he is very helpful. If I come to Tenerife again, I'll try for this apartment.

Winter Gardens Golf Del Sur Tenerife

"Thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at this apartment. It had everything we required and is situated in a very pleasant part of Tenerife. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Other parts of the Island easily accessible by bus. Plenty of restaurants nearby for those who like to dine out. The customer service from our hosts was excellent. Looking forward now to our next visit."

August 2010 family get away

My family and I spent 2 brilliant weeks at John and Edwina's apartment 28 in Winter Gardens. The apartment was easily accessible from the road where the taxi dropped us off which only cost 12 Euros, and only 5 minutes from the airport, this is good news when carrying all the luggage. The apartment was well furnished and comfortable for us to live in - a home from home that was clean, and well appointed. The complex facilities are well thought out and child, and disable friendly. The pool is excellent but watch out for sun bed hogging by some residents when its busy, they reserve their places with towels then go out for the day! There are so many places to eat out locally that you may not need the self catering facilities and many say its cheaper to eat out than buy from the supermarket over the road. This is convenient but pricey. Taxis can be ordered from the hotel over the road to get to local supermarkets or you can stroll the 1km to San Blas where there is another cheaper local supermarket. As a reward for walking you can enjoy a home made ice cream on the way, just follow the signs, they're delicious, the kids had us walking there nightly! If you hire a car go to Adeje old town to the OASIS RESTAURANT, closed on a Wednesday but open the rest of the week takes about 20 minutes from the apartment on the motor way. You will have the most amazing chicken & the whole meal experience is the best value for money you will find anywhere in the world. Just try it you won't be disappointed. Other places worth going are Siam water park for kids 8 and up, the crazy golf on the main golf course, go karting just past las chifiras (follow the signs), and a trip up Mount Teide reviles unbelievable scenery & views. Any Kite surfers wanting the best waves can head to El Medano where its packed with adrenaline seekers 24/7. All in all one of the best family holidays we have been on. You can do as much or as little as you like, but with consistently good weather all year round it all feels good in the sun! John is a friendly, helpful owner and we have already recommended his apartments to the rest of our family and close friends. Thanks John we will definitely be back!

Spacious and well equipped property

We stayed 28 Winter Gardens for 10 days and had a fantastic time. Myself, my wife, new baby and grandparents stayed in the property and found it spacious and well equipped. The visitors book includes tips and recommendations for places to visit and places to eat. The balcony is huge and you can comfortably enjoy an evening meal out there. The facilities at the complex include a nice swimming pool with smaller children's pool. There are plenty of sun loungers and the pool area was never crowded. Also included is a large bowls green (if your that way inclined), a bistro bar (days and evenings) and restaurant (evenings). There are plenty of local bars and restaurants a short walk away from the complex and the harbour and small natural beach are also close by. I would recommend this quiet resort for families with small children and people who want a quiet get-away.

Loved It!!!!!

This is now the third year that my friends and I have stayed in this apartment. The complex is briiliant and the apartment is fab. Its very clean, spacious and well eqiupped with all the necessary items for your holiday. There is a lovely restuarant and bar on the complex and lots of lovely places to eat within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone. Ideal for families or a group holiday and great value for money. My frinds and I will definitely be going back soon.

Arrival at the apartment was easy. Apartment was perfect in every way, full facilities, all meticulously clean. A very welcome surprise when we arrived was the provision of milk,coffee, tea and water...just what was needed after a long flight. The close proximity of restaurants and bars was brilliant, also local supermarkets across the street, with the marina and more restaurants only 5 minutes walk away. The complex was kept immaculate and had its own very good restaurant on site. Heated swimming pool was never very busy and the addition of a children's pool made it all the more attractive. The service provided, both before, during and after the holiday was first class, with nothing being a problem. I will definitely be booking this apartment again when next visiting Tenerife as will friends I have spoken to. I have been holidaying in Tenerife for the last 9 years and this rates at the top of the list. 5 star experience T
