About this property

A fantastic Lake Como retreat!

Enjoy a fabulous lake-view house in the village of Pianello. Ideal for families, a short walk to the lake, and its attractions and amenities.
Arranged over 2 levels, with a spacious living area, kitchen, 3 double bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a quiet back garden and a small balcony overlooking the lake.

The house is our family retreat, and has a relaxing and homely atmosphere, which we hope your own family will enjoy as much as we do.
The house is arranged over two (and a half) levels, with a spacious living area and separate fully-functional kitchen and dining seating 6 people, three double bedrooms (one twin and one on a double level; baby cot can be added), one bathroom (with walk-in shower), and one additional toilet and utility room. There is a quiet back garden with a wonderful mountain view, and a lovely balcony directly facing the lake. There are also lake views from two of the bedrooms and the living room. Free parking is one minute away from the house.

As our family retreat for about twenty years, the house has been furnished and decorated simply and tastefully, with personal touches. We have created a homely, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, which we hope your own family will also enjoy.

A short walk from the house brings you straight down to the the lakefront of Pianello with its pretty marina, and excellent lakeside cafes and restaurants offering a range of simple or sophisticated cuisine.
For the sporty ones, there is a great choice of activities to enjoy in the area: from kite-surfing to sailing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing and hiking.

On quieter days, besides enjoying the many little beaches, there is a variety of wonderful places to visit along the lake and the surrounding mountains, including Bellagio, Managgio, Varenna, Como, Lugano in Switzerland. Many picturesque villages that can be reached by boat, short drives, or pleasant walks. There are plenty of books and maps in the house to provide guide and suggestions throughout your visit.

Please note the house and the garden are strictly no smoking; no pet allowed, sorry.
We very much hope that you'll enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere in the house; we welcome the sharing of books and toys, but please make sure you treat them as if they were yours!

From November 2024, the house fully complies with the new regulations for short lettings, including the provision of fire extinguishers (one for each floor), full drinking water analysis, as well as a complete and well-stock first aid box.

Perfect Stay Close to Lake

We had a fantastic week at this charming house. It had everything we needed as a small family. The lake is on your doorstep so it’s very easy to walk down for an evening swim. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful two weeks at lago di como

We, 4 adults and 2 kids, stayed two weeks in the lovely house of Marinella. Everything with the house was perfect, even the fact that the lady handing out the keys did not speak English was not a problem at all. The different rooms of the house are spread over 4 storeys which gave a lot of Option for privacy amoungst our group.. the House is equipped with everything needed and decorated very nice. Unfortunately using the garden for breakfast or dinner was not that comfortable (and not sunny enough for the time of the year), thus we did not use the garden that much but with doing a lot of outside activities at and around the lake, this was not a problem. Altogether, We deeply enjoyed our holiday!!

Très bien

Maison très agréable et chaleureuse, vue magnifique. La propriétaire est très réactive et efficace. Le seul petit problème est le circuit électrique qu'il faut juste savoir gérer correctement pour éviter les surcharges. Nous étions 5 et avons tous été très contents de notre séjour chez Marinella.

Großzügiges Objekt, das mit allem Notwendigen eingerichtet ist. Der Balkon und der Garten wirken auf den Bildern größer als sie sind- uns hat das nicht gestört. Wir mochten den Kunstgeschmack/die Einrichtung der Familie und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit der sehr freundlichen Eigentümerin. Der Blick in die Berge und auf den See ist fantastisch.

Pfingstferien 2023

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche am Comer See. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und die Vermieterin völlig unkompliziert. Man hat auch einen schönen Blick auf den See. Der Weg zum See oder Supermarkt ist auch nicht weit... Der einzige kleine Nachteil war die Lage an der Hauptstraße, was teilweise etw. laut und gewöhnungsbedürftig war. Insgesamt aber sehr zu empfehlen!

Ein sehr schönes Haus mit ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen mit einem schmalen Garten und einem kleinen Balkon mit herrlichem Blick auf den See. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Einziger Nachteil: Lärmempfindliche Bewohner sollten wegen knatternder Motorräder entweder nicht im Schlafzimmer zur Straßenseite schlafen oder die Fenster nachts geschlossen halten und das Zimmer über das Badezimmer belüften.

Gemütliches Haus in toller Umgebung

Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der Blick aus den Fenstern Richtung See ein Traum. Den Garten haben wir wegen der vielen Mücken nicht genutzt. Der Weg zum See ist kurz und die Bademöglichkeiten sind super. Was man beachten sollte (falls Kinder beispielsweise ihre Spielekonsole im Gepäck haben sollten ;-) ): Es gibt im Haus keinen Fernseher. Das ist natürlich nicht negativ, aber man sollte es ggf. beachten, falls es relevant sein sollte. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war hervorragend und wir können Ort und Quartier nur empfehlen.

Vue magnifique

Le logement est idéalement situé pour découvrir le lac de Côme. A 100m des plages, proche d'un embarcadère et du port. Logement confortable. Propriétaire disponible. A noter que la rue est passante et bruyante. Nous avons profité du jardin mais dommage qu'il n'ait pas été entretenu.

Comersee wir kommen wieder

Das Haus ist zu empfehlen, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist völlig unproblematisch und schnell. Einziger negativer Punkt ist die Lage oberhalb der Dorfstraße. Der normale Verkehr ist kein Problem allerdings sind doch bis tief in die Nacht einzelne Motorroller unterwegs, der Lautstärke nach ohne oder mit wenig Auspuff. Somit wird man ab und zu aus dem Schlaf gerissen, auch bei geschlossenem Fenster.

Ein sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir verbrachten 3 Wochen in dem Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Lediglich die Lage des Hauses an der Durchgangsstraße des Dorfes könnte von empfindlichen Ohren möglicherweise als störend empfunden werden. Mückenschutznetze an den Fenstern waren außerdem leider nicht vorhanden. Ansonsten waren Ausstattung, Einrichtung, Schlüsselübergabe und auch der Kontakt zu der Vermieterin perfekt. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür!

Haus mit Charakter zum Wohlfühlen

Von Beginn an haben wir uns (2 Erwachsene und ein 12 jähriger) wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die vielen Ecken und Winkel bilden ein zauberhaftes Labyrinth. Wir wurden mit kaltem Wasser im Kühlschrank, Brot und Marmelade für das erste Frühstück und gemachten Betten freundlich empfangen. Unser Kontakt vor Ort sprach ausschließlich italienisch, über whatsapp konnten aber alle Fragen die mehr als Zeichensprache verlangten mit der Vermieterin zügig geklärt werden. Die Küche ist ordentlich ausgestattet, im Garten konnten wir abends grillen. Obwohl wir eine besonders heiße Reisezeit erwischt hatten, war es im Haus immer erträglich, da am See fast immer ein leichter Wind für Erfrischung sorgt. Der Ausblick auf den See vom kleinen Balkon und den Fenstern auf der Seeseite ist bei allen Witterungen traumhaft schön. Der See ist Luftlinie keine 100m entfernt und über einen Fußweg in weniger als fünf Minuten zu erreichen. Tatsächlich ist das Seeufer von Musso bis Cremia über mehrere Kilometer frei zugänglich. Zum Baden an den Kiesstränden sind Badeschuhe empfehlenswert. Entgegen ersten Befürchtungen hatten wir nie Probleme, auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz in Sichtweite einen Stellplatz zu finden. Die direkte Zufahrt zum Haus ist über die sehr enge Zugangsstraße nicht ohne weiteres möglich, über einen Fussweg ist der Parkplatz etwa drei Minuten entfernt. Der Durchgangsverkehr wird durch einen Umgehungstunnel am Ort vorbeigeleitet, trotzdem werden sich empfindliche Ohren eventuell von Motorrädern auf der Dorfstraße gestört fühlen. Eine erholsame Woche am Comer See verging wie im Flug - gerne wollen wir wiederkommen.

Gemütliches und persönlich eingerichtetes Haus mit genialem Ausblick

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war absolut genial, sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Vor Ort war die Schlüsselübergabe unkompliziert, eine Dame aus dem Ort hat uns sehr nett empfangen und alles gezeigt. Mann hat einen wunderbaren Blick, zum einen auf den Comer See, auf der anderen Seite zu den Bergen. Einfach genial. Die Nachbarn sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten uns gut entspannen. Für uns war der Verkehr von der Dorfstrasse etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Auch konnte man leider nicht direkt vor dem Haus parken ( sehr eng und teilw. Parkverbot wegen Privatgrundstück ) und mit dem Einladen und Ausladen war es doch etwas schwierig. Aber das sind wirklich nur 2 kleine negative Punkte. Parken kann man nur einige hundert Meter vom Haus entfernt, auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz, den man auch immer einsehen kann. Ansonsten einfach eine tolle Unterkunft, stilvoll eingerichtet. Besonders hat uns das obere Zimmer über 2 Stockwerke gefallen! Sehr netter Kontakt mit der Vermieterin, auch während des Aufenthalts war sie immer per WhatsApp zu erreichen und hat sich sehr schnell zurückgemeldet. Hafen und Strände sind sehr schnell zu erreichen. Fußläufig (4 Min.) gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt, wo man wirklich alles Nötige kaufen kann. Uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen und konnten uns gut erholen. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen !

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy both the stunning Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. Being located in a village the house offers peace and relax, but the close proximity to many touristic destinations (Bellagio, Varenna, Lugano, Como) allows exciting day trips also by boat.

What makes this property unique

The house has a fantastic front view of the Lake and of the mountains, which can also be admired from the back and the garden. The separate floors, and the split-level bedroom offer versatile use of the house, which is very handy when traveling with children (and teens!).
