Great location close to beach and Rye. Perfect home away from home.

A perfect property for a quick getaway to the coast with my family. Very homely feel, with great quality facilities, spotlessly clean and attractively decorated. NB - the floor plan shows a shower downstairs which isn't correct but otherwise, no complaints.

Perfect for the beach!

We had a wonderful time at the Rock. It was clean and well presented. Literally across the road from the beautiful beach. The house was very well equipped. It had everything we needed and more. It’s was amazing for the kids. Especially the toys and game. Great beds, good sleeps all round and lovely outdoor area. Would recommend!

We had such a great stay in this lovely house. We had a 18 mth old with us and when I told Sophie she made sure we had everything we needed- right down to bath toys. Great location and perfect outdoor space for little ones to play and for the grown ups to enjoy a bbq later. Recommended stay

Lovely house - clean, modern, all you need for a great family stay.

Spent a long weekend here with 4 adults and 2 young children. Great accommodation, everything we needed for a great stay. Clean, quiet, contemporary, comfortable but with lots of added luxuries. The owners have really thought through what families look for when choosing somewhere to stay and gave us loads of useful information on the area. Little details like travel cots, toys, a Wii to entertain the kids, flat-screen TV's, Wifi and even a Bjorn chair for babies. Absolutely spot on...would stay here again without hesitation if we were visiting the area.

Great location, perfect family getaway for long or short stays.

Excellent location with a garden that catches the sun all afternoon. Great decked outside garden for the kids to play with all the various toys on hand in the house and garage. Our kids loved riding around the garden in the little tykes car. The kitchen is well equipped with good cookware and sharp knives which is my biggest gripe usually about self catering accommodation. It is 10mins walk with a pram to the most accessible end of the beach with push chair. However if you are able to walk over the dunes (which we did manage with the pram a couple of times) then 5 mins to the beach. Kids cutlery was all taken care of as well as high chairs and cots. The gallivant is a great restaurant and 5 mins walk away, otherwise Rye is your next best bet for really good food at the Grill in the high st which is 10mins in the car. Ocado deliver to this address too so I would suggest getting a delivery for when you arrive and then you don't have to worry about shopping for food while there. We liked it so much we have booked our next stay there is 6 weeks time!

This house is perfect for a family holiday whatever the time of year. All of the rooms are really cosy, bright and modern and have everything you need. The beds are very comfortable too. We stayed there as a family of 6 adults plus 2 dogs and it was more than big enough to accommodate us all. The location is also great being only a few minutes walk to a very friendly pub, The Owl, which serves great food, as well as a large local Nisa and of course a fantastic sandy beach, where the tide seems to go out forever. Can't recommend it highly enough

Perfect home for the relaxing break

We all thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Rock and found it had every facility to keep baby and dog safe and happy, likewise the adults! Welcome treats were special, thank you. Lots to explore in the area and enjoyed local pubs such as the Kings Head, The Plough, the Gallivant and the George. Luckily the weather was good too so many walks in Rye Harbour , Winchelsea and Dungeness. We all agreed that we will miss the Rock and hope to return soon. Thank you from Christine , the Coles and Molly the dog.

Haus, Ausstatung, Lage. Top !!!! Toller Strand, klasse Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Rye, Bodiam, London, 7Sisters, Dover.....) Der Verwalter Richard Smith hatte vorab bereits viele tolle Infos gemailt. Selber ist er dirkt vor Ort und jederzeit erreichbar. Auch an ihn 5 von 5 Sternen !!! Wir waren vom 05.08 - 19.08.17 dort.

Sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus in toller Lage

Wer gerne mit leichtem Gepäck reist und zu Fuß zum Strand laufen möchte ist hier absolut richtig. Das Haus liegt in einer schönen Feriensiedlung nur wenige Minuten Fußweg vom wunderschönen Sandstrand entfernt. Hier sind Hunde auf der rechten Seite auch im Sommer erlaubt und kommen beim Spielen voll auf ihre Kosten. Das Haus ist modern maritim aber auch praktisch eingerichtet. Bei der Ausstattung wurde wirklich an alles gedacht, egal ob Hundedecke, Fahrräder, Liegen, Strandspielzeug, Spiele oder Wii für die Kids... Es ist einfach alles da. Auch in der Küche fehlt wirklich gar nichts. Die Lage ist toll für viele Ausflüge. Ob ins nahe gelegene Rye oder mit dem Zug nach London, alles kein Problem. Auch viele Sehenswürdigkeiten des National Trust sind gut zu erreichen. Unser absoluter Liebling war Sissinghurst. Zuletzt sollte man noch die gute Betreuung durch die Vermieter erwähnen, die nur wenige Häuser entfernt wohnen. Schon vor dem Urlaub schickte uns Richard per Mail ein tolles Willkommensheft, dass alle wichtigen, nützlichen und interessanten Informationen enthielt. So konnten wir uns super vorbereiten und unseren Urlaub planen. Es war unser täglicher Begleiter auf dem Handy und wir haben einige der Tipps für Ausflüge und Pups ausprobiert.

Fabulous, welcoming and great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous property. Everything was at hand and our 3 year old grandson had a great time with all the toys supplied. Welcoming cake, biscuits and juice and prior to our arrival, in depth information sent to us by the helpful hosts. I would highly recommend this stay as it is literally 5 minutes from the beautiful sandy beach, lovely pubs for food and very near delightful rye and the Romney, hythe and dymchurch miniature train.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in guter Lage zum Strand

Das Haus ist sehr schön und maritiem eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Den Strand konnte man in fünf min gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Ort waren vorhanden, jedoch war im Nachbarort Rye die Auswahl größer. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Alles in Allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Perfekter Strand und guter Ausgangspunkt für den Südosten 🙃

Neben der erwähnt guten Lage in Camber waren wir zudem besonders von der Sauberkeit und Ausstattung unseres Hauses begeistert. Es war wirklich Alles und noch mehr da was man braucht um ein paar schöne Tage zu verbringen. Ebenso der Verwalter vor Ort "Richard Smith" war immer da wenn man ihn brauchte!!!!!!!! Wir würden direkt wieder buchen!!!!

Warm and cosy cottage ideal for families

Upon arriving at another letting we found the property had suffered a burst water pipe. We arrived at 10.30pm and instantly called the manager. Within twenty minutes we were moved into a neighbouring rental called 'the rock' (than you beside the sea for your speedy first class customer service). Upon entering the house we were instantly greeting with warm and inviting furnishings. Attention to detail is in every room which instantly gives a cosy homely feel. This property has luxuries and extras we have not found in other lettings, a espresso coffee machine with a selection of coffee capsules, to name one! This letting is situated in perfect proximity to the stunning beach and historical beautiful Rye. We had an amazing weekend at the rock and will most definitely be telling our friends about it, and we have already discussed returning with our children next year. Congratulations, you've nailed the family friendly holiday letting without taking away the luxuries for the grown ups. Bravo!
