Situated on a beautiful lake, this cozy cabin is great for a peaceful escape, or as a base for Alaskan adventures! Located between Kenai and Soldotna - the cabin is a short drive away from world class salmon fishing and scenic hiking trails. The property is adjacent to a 1.2 million acre moose preserve, which is the perfect location for snow machining, four-wheeling and hunting. The cabin sleeps three in its ladder accessed sleeping loft, and there is a futon in the living room, supplied with sheets, pillows and blankets. FYI water supply is from well water.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Empty the trash, pile all the dirty beddings and towels probably on the floor, wash your dirty dishes and put it away to a designated place.
Kids has to be strictly attended by adults or their parents specially by the lake and up and down the ladder to the loft . Take off your shoes.
No fish processing . Don’t trash the place.. we will charge you extra cleaning fee if you leave the place messy . Treat this place as your own.

Beautiful little cabin on small lake. We enjoyed our stay. Watching the loons and eagles in the evening from deck was pretty cool. Host friendly and reached out to us to see if there was anything we needed.

This tiny cabin was absolutely perfect for our stay. The owners are very nice and they thought of everything from several toiletry items to condiments in the frig and an air fryer. There is a charcoal grill and large freezer on the large patio. Nice private lake with canoes, chairs, BBQ, and a dock. We can't wait to rent out their larger cabin once they are finished with it.

Beautiful setting next to the lake. Quiet and peaceful. Just a short 10 minute drive into town if you need supplies. Would definitely say again.

Great stay, enjoyed the lake and canoeing right by a bald eagle (canoe, paddle board, and kayak were available on the property)!FYI: Recommended to bring bottled water with you during your stay. Cabin is set deep in the neighborhood and you will take several right angle turns while on the same road (perhaps due to the history of military and homestead square tracts).

Cozy and perfect

The place was so peaceful and quiet. The lake is beautiful. The freezer was exactly what we needed with all of the fishing on the kenai. The bed is comfortable as well.

Perfectly Described

Property was exactly as advertised; SUPER quite and peaceful setting. While technically not "off the grid", it felt that way to someone from a big city. So it has all the creature comforts while still relatively remote. And both the property owners were extremely responsive with questions. Highly recommend.

Nice cabin but to get to the "outhouse" you need to run 100 feet through an unmowed meadow. Not very nice if it has rained before.

Amazing Setting, Nice Cabin...

First, Peter had addressed all the issues as soon as he could, and refunded 50% of the cost to compensate, however: 1. There was no response from the host days before check in and hours afte checkin, some issue with comm. on the app. 2. The water in the cabin smelled bad, and bad smell from all drains, there's definately a plumbing issue, and im not sure about the water supply, it could be that all the watewr in the area are like that, maybe its well water but it was not fun. Sorry. I wouldnt recommend before fixign the water issue
