Bright, cheerful decor, close to everything

The property was lovely, cozy, very clean and comfortable and Christine a charming and informative host. We were close to a little family neighborhood market, with cafés, bars and shopping just a few minutes away. The beach was a nice walk and the boardwalk amazing. I will share this listing with friends and plan to return.

Restful Alvor

Christine is a great host. She answered all queries promptly and effectively. The apartment is very central and it was easy to get around on foot. The apartment is a good size. Alvor is a super place to spend a relaxing holiday. Highly recommended.

Die Wohnung (fast das komplette Haus) ist sehr gemütlich, etwas verwinkelt über 3 Etagen mit mehreren Außenbereichen, Straßen- und Innenhofseitig, prima ausgestattet mit Liegen, Sitzmöglichkeiten und Grill, grosse Wohnküche,Fernseher mit Fernsehsesseln, alles prima! Die Strandnähe ist allerdings nicht richtig angegeben, es sei denn, man rechnet das zwischen Ort und Waterkant liegende Natur- und Vogelschutzgebiet mit den Holzbohlenwegen zum Strand dazu. Dieses zu durchqueren kostet auf der kürzesten Strecke ca.10-15 Miuten. Es ist allerdings sehr schön und es lohnt sich auch den weiteren Weg zu nehmen, da dieser zum etwas weniger frequentierten sehr sauberen Strandabschnitt führt. Die interessante Altstadt mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Bars und Restaurants ist gleich um die Ecke. Auf der anderen Seite sind größere Hotlanlagen, Bars, Restaramts und Geschäfte aller Art zu finden.
