The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Maarten 502 have been tastefully decorated with a tropical theme. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and offers plenty of seating for everyone to gather around the flat-screen TV. The couch even converts to a queen sleeper sofa for larger parties. The spacious beach-facing balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining area has seating for six with additional seating for two at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size appliances and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Complete with a king bed, flat-screen TV, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a jetted tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed, flat-screen TV, and private access to the beach-facing balcony. The first guest bedroom has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second guest bedroom has two twin beds and a TV. Just steps from both the second guest bedroom and the living area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The accommodations were outstanding and just as described. VRBO pricing and their endless list of fees always leaves something to be desired… but property owners have little choice so not going to blame them

Beach Trip

The property and condo are great. We had a nice stay. There are plenty of activities to do on the property. The 2 gyms were very nice. We will stay here again.

Great place to stay

This unit Appeared to be newly renovated. Everything about it was perfect and beautifully decorated. Location of private parking space to the elevator was also so convenient. Will go again soon as possible.

Not what we expected

The furnishings are a bit dated. The comforter on the king bed was dingy and did not seem clean. The king bed was so uncomfortable that my husband and I woke up each morning in agony. My 9yo even commented on how hard it was. We found a live roach in the master bedroom crawling on the wall We found a dirty sock in the laundry room and an old kitchen towel in the chair in the living room.

Great Stay - Would Stay Again (with a request)

Great view of the pool and the beach from the balcony and inside. Nicely put together condo. ATTENTION PROPERTY MANAGERS: 6 people can stay, so 6 fobs should be made available. Very cumbersome for 6 people to only have 4 fobs. SUGGESTION: Remove the bulky armoire in the main room to open up the floor to ceiling window behind and just put in a smaller dresser type thing or place the TV directly on the wall. SUGGESTION/HOUSEKEEPING: The armoire, in the master bedroom, has broken drawers, which makes use very difficult. It's a bulky piece. We suggest getting a regular dresser so it opens the space more. HOUSEKEEPING: The mattress needs to be replaced. HOUSEKEEPING: Please level off the stove. It leans to the back, which makes things hard to cook because all the food rolls to the back of the pan. HOUSEKEEPING: Upon arrival, the master bedroom floor was very sandy. Please have cleaners do double checks. Everything else was lovely and we would absolutely come back and stay. Bright and cheery in all rooms facing the patios which wrapped from bedroom to main room to master. Thank you for maintaining a lovely home at a reasonable price. Best Wishes

Excellent Room, Love the resort, Best Location on Beach

This resort is really nice! Room layout was perfect for our family of 6. Nicely furnished. Great spot for family and friends. It's next to the state park and at least the week we went it did not feel overly crowded. Having the elevator open directly into your rooms is strange at first, especially when people are entering the exiting the elevator too, but you get used to it. Your key card ONLY allows you to your elevator button. Having an exterior door in the back bedroom was also a little strange, so I would definitely not put kids that would sneak out in that room. You use the elevator to enter and exit the room. Felt really safe here and will most definitely return to this resort. The bar at the beach served great drinks and lunches.

Spectacular views!!

This was our second year staying in the St. Maarten building. The views from this condo are spectacular! Our time here was fantastic and we will definitely be staying here again. The only thing I would suggest would be doing some updates to this condo. While majority of it is wonderful, it could stand some to be upgraded a bit.
