With breath-taking views directly over the sea, we are proud to introduce Oscar's by the Sea. Completely renovated over the last few years, this Victorian townhouse offers ample space throughout. 6 bedrooms, one family bathroom, 3 shower cubicles (one of which is ensuite) and a downstairs toilet. Large kitchen/diner and utility room with washer/dryer and lounge/diner. Retaining much of its original Victorian charm, this property is beautifully furnished to offer complete comfort for all your needs. Step out of the door and directly onto the coastal path or simply try one of the many coffee shops or restaurants, all within walking distance. You will be spoilt for choice ...

So much for the children to enjoy, including Pickie Fun Park, Bangor Aurora Leisure Centre, Bangor Cinema or the local beaches at Skippingstone or Ballyholme ALL within a short walk.

Belfast City airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car or train, and Belfast International is 40 minutes away by car. Rail links from Bangor to Belfast or Dublin are easily accessible. We look forward to welcoming you.

Great place to stay near Belfast

Excellent location near the ocean. The house was perfect, close to the train to take to Belfast, plenty of room and near all restaurants and pubs.

Amazing Family Stay

We had such a fantastic time. Honestly, one of the best experiences we’ve ever had staying at a property. The location is great, the Victorian townhouse has such amazing views and is so comfortable. I wish we could have stayed!

Perfect Location/Gorgeous view

We were looking for a place to stay and host extended family. Oscar by the Sea was perfect! Conveniently located, well appointed, with comfy beds and a great view. We enjoyed walks on the seawall, visiting Ward park and hosting family. Good restaurants and coffee shops near by. Hosts were easy to work with and very accommodating.

Really enjoyed this home! A beautiful home with a lot of space for 10-12 guests. Amazing views of the water. Located in a coastal town with shops, restaurants. Short drive to Belfast.

Gorgeous View

Chris & Sara were gracious and courteous hosts. The property is as described and pictured. The views from the front of the house are amazing! The property had plenty of space for our 2 families with a total of 8 adults. The coastal walking path was beautiful. There are plenty of lovely cafes nearby. I highly recommend Oscar's By The Sea and hope to return in the future.

Great property close to the marina

We were sailing in the Bangor Regatta so the location was perfect being close to the marina. We were a group of eight singles and in the VRBO listing it stated eight beds (six double and two single) but found there to be one double short. On speaking with Chris & Sara they were not aware of the error in the VRBO site (now amended)as it had not been an issue in the past. Chris sorted it out and delivered a bed round so it was not a problem. The property has great views and was very roomy and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and Chris and Sara could not have been more helpful.

Multi generation Oscars

Perfect stay

We could not fault a single thing in this property. Perfect location, amazing views. House was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The property managers Chris and Sara were so helpful and accommodating. In my opinion this is the best house to stay in when visiting Bangor.

Amazing property

The photos don’t do this house justice - amazing views and large rooms made this a perfect house for our large family- the owners Sara and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful in firstly rebooking us due to COVID and then allowing an early check in - thank you - this will be our first choice for any future family gatherings

Fabulous stay

The house is very spacious, the kitchen well equipped and the facilities excellent. It was lovely to come back from a long day of meetings to relax with staff in such a comfortable house. We will definitely come back if possible

Friends and family said I was "crazy" to take on this renovation project, but I had a goal in mind, and now that goal is complete, I can step back and admire Oscar's by the Sea. Each room has been stripped back to basics, yet I have managed to retain much of the original Victorian charm. The property has been renovated top to bottom, and we are thrilled with the end result. The sea views from many of the front rooms are simply stunning, you can waste time simply taking it all in ....Come and see for yourself what Oscar's by the Sea has to offer. We look forward to welcoming you!
