NOTE: AMAPAS 353 POOL AND TERRACE WILL BE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS FROM APRIL 28 UNTIL AROUND NOVEMBER 15. I AM OFFERING a 15% DISCOUNT ON MY RENTAL FEE AND ACCESS TO THE POOL ACROSS THE STREET DURING THIS TIME FRAME.

Amapas 353 is a boutique building just 150 feet off Los Muertos Beach and Blue Chairs Beach in the Amapas area of Romantica Zone in Puerto Vallarta. A 2-4 minute walk to the beach. The building is located on a small hill - with approximately 80 stairs that take you right to the beach (or go down the road one block for less of an incline).

This unit is a luxury1 BR (king bed with gel mattress topper), 2 Ba with 1,150 square feet (107 square meters). In addition, there is a queen-plus (67" wide) sized sleeper sofa in the living area, and a queen, electric-pump air mattress. The building has an elevator and is technically on the 4th floor. The 4th floor is located 7 stories up from ocean side entrance and 1 story up from mountain side entrance.

The unit, named "Casa de las Olas" (House of the Waves) has great ocean breezes that cool and refresh the condo in minutes. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, toaster, blender and coffee maker, etc. Washer and dryer in the unit. This condo has its own water purification system in the kitchen and a digital safe box. It offers a nice size living room with dining table sitting area. The 2 full bathrooms have rainwater shower heads and granite counters.

On the rooftop of the building is a beautiful heated infinity pool with amazing views. There is also a covered gazebo area, sink and BBQ. Building has a very nice gym on a lower level. The building is one block to beaches and close to great restaurants, night life, shopping.

Come to "La Casa de Las Olas"! Relax and enjoy the ocean view and the sounds of the waves from the large balcony, watch people walking the beach, see the amazing tropical sunset, view fireworks and see the beautifully lit Los Muertos Pier at night - all from the comfort of your home!

Amazing Week

This was our second time staying in this condo. The description online is extremely accurate. The property manager is very easy to work with and responds very quickly. The views from the condo are absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop pool is quiet and the views are fantastic. Everyone we met on the property was very nice and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful views great condo

Loved this condo from views from living room to the infinity pool on roof. Is up the hill so some stairs or up hill walking is necessary but close to shopping, nightlife, and grat restaurants. Would stay again!

Condo is in a wonderful location with breathtaking views and centrally located within walking distance of the beach, shopping and restaurants. The condo comes well appointed with a well equipped kitchen and all of the other items necessary for this to be your home away from home. Have stayed at several condos in this building and this a great choice.

Amazing place & location in Puerto Vallarta

In short, this place was amazing. From the location to the apartment to the stunning view, I can’t rave enough about it! Blair’s place had everything that we were looking for and more. Amapas 353

This was our first VRBO. Having said that, it was a great vacation in a wonderful building and unit. Excellent location in the Romantic zone where everything was steps away. Everything was as advertised and the unit was excactly as advertised with everything there to make us comfortable. Moises was huge in assisting where needed and made us feel at home. Hope to come back some day.

Beautiful Condo!

This condo is beautifully appointed. Clean, stylish, comfy bed, and the views from the balcony and rooftop pool are stunning! Communication with Blair and the property management team were seamless. A very detailed manual about the condo, nearby restaurants and things to do in PV was very helpful. Thank you Blair for hosting my wife and I. We had a wonderful vacation!

The place to stay

Blair was a awesome host and we accidentally popped into him checking in. This place is exactly as advertised with a amazing view and you may be able to catch a show or two in the evening from the balcony. The condo is very clean and decorated perfectly, any reviews giving this less than five stars aren’t being honest. Brett and I hope to stay again in the future.

Best View in PV

This was the best view we've had while staying in PV in the 7 times we have been. STUNNING sunsets. Easy walk to the beach. Comfy set up. Be sure to be on the same page about when housekeeping will come, it was our first VRBO experience so we didnt know what to expect in that regard. We will definetly revisit Blair's beautiful rental in the future!

Convenient, Comfy, & Cozy

I want this condo for myself! It’s beautifully decorated, convenient for getting around, and hard to leave because of the views. The building has a wonderful gym and rooftop. The owner and managing company provided excellent service. My only complaint—it's hard to leave. If I could afford to stay for a month, this condo would be the perfect spot. 5 stars!

Rooftop pool and modern unit.

The unit was exactly as described! It was modern, clean and had all the little extras to make our stay enjoyable. The bed was comfortable and the showers were HUGE. The rooftop was incredible with a pool, bathroom, cooking space and lounging area. The view was incredible as the nighttime lights went up! The location on Amapas was great. Close to great shops, beach, and restaurants. The elevator was not working when we arrived, so we hiked up stairs. If you worry about this, you may want to verify it has been fixed.

3rd Stay

We always appreciate this place and plan to stay here next year. There was a hiccup this year with the checkin process as whatever automated email service you use sent us the request for checkin info 6 months early instead of a few weeks before like in previous years. Also, we didn't receive any instructions about check out this year and I had to contact vs whatsapp to make sure they were fine with keeping the place unlocked with keys in it - previous years, we saw the manager and handed him the keys. I'm hoping that by next year the owner can replace a the cups and glasses as the cups are all chipped and only one glass left. We bought our own cups from the store because I can't drink on cups with chips on them. All minor I know.. I did love that they had the grocery service and that was a great asset to our stay. (If you deduct the 35 grocery fee next year, I will be happy to provide the unit with a few glasses and cups. -:)

Amazing Property!!

This place was the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Not only was it in a great location, it was also fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the beach. The view is amazing and the nightly drag show is fun to watch. When I first looked at this listing I thought for sure the photos had filters on them or were photoshopped somehow, but no. They are EXACTLY the way it is. The rooftop pool is amazing and it’s where we spent most of our time. Management arranged airport transportation, a day tour to some beaches around San Pancho and had a medical professional come do our covid test the day before our flight home. Whenever I had a question they were just a text or phone call away. We are already looking at dates to return next next year.

A great location, beautiful view in an organized, modern and spacious condo.

This place is terrific. The location is excellent. The view is wonderful and the sound of the crashing waves which you can hear from the balcony is healing and relaxing. This condo is super organized and well stocked. The furniture is comfortable and the bed is great with comfy pillows. The air-conditioning is top notch and everything about the condo demonstrates the care and pride the owner has in his place. The art is warm and welcoming. The building has excellent security and a reliable elevator. There is also a very nice small gym in the building that is rarely occupied. There is a very comprehensive manual provided at the condo that makes everything run smoothly and easy to figure out. I wish that every place I rented was as organized, clean and up to date as this place. The layout is excellent and two washrooms are a great feature. The roof top deck with infinity pool are ideal for quiets afternoons or to watch the sunset.

Perfect location and beautiful property and view

I come to Puerto Vallarta almost every year. This is an ideal condo for a romantic getaway. This had an amazing view of the ocean. The condo was clean, modern and the management company was attentive, responsive and helpful. There is filtered water in the faucet. We are in the center of the romantic zone and a short 5 minute walk to the restaurants. You have to walk up a hill but if you have any physical issues walking up the hill to the condo, you can always call an uber. 5 minute walk to La Palapa Restaurant and down the hill 5 minutes to the beach. The view is everything! There is a nightclub across from the condo where you can watch the nightly shows and hear the music. The club closes every night at 10 or 10:30PM so they don't play all day long. There was even fireworks you can watch from the balcony one night. I will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it. Wifi signal was strong.

Very Nice Ocean Views and Location

Blair is pretty quick to respond. We come to PV 1-2 times a year and have stayed in Amapas 353 once before In A Different Unit. We rented the unit for 2 months at the time traveling was opening up after the Pandemic but Due to the unit being vacant for a few months because of the Pandemic there were a Few things that needed attention when we arrive but they were fixed fairly quickly. The sofabed advertised for up to 2 more guests was horrible to sleep on as it made loud noises when a person moved on it so I would either replace it or Not advertise it as sleeping up to 4 guests. We had another couple join us for part of the based on the sofabed but we ended up purchasing an Air Mattress at Walmart and my husband slept on it and I slept on the sofa as a couch and it worked out Ok and gave the bedroom to our family for the time they were there that joined us and that was for 3 weeks. Bottom line is the unit is Perfect For a Maximum of 2 people that share the bedroom. There is 2 bathrooms so that was helpful while our family was with us. I also let the owner know that they need new bed linens as they had bleach spots and some were torn so hopefully he will address that. We own vacation rentals in Hawaii so I pay attention to All of a condos Details and any issues.

C2 Review

I want to start with the negative, because there are more positives than negatives, but I think it's important for people to know about the loud techno/disco music and large video screen directly across from the unit. It made it impossible to have a quiet evening on the patio, listening to the waves. This was a mother/daughter trip and we wanted quiet time, so we were very disappointed. The location of the unit is great. Walking distance to the beach, shops, coffee shops and entertainment. We did take an Uber (only because were were dressed up) to one of your suggested restaurants "Cafe Des Artiste" and it was fabulous! The condo itself is lovely. Very clean, and we loved the decor of the place and especially the artwork. I want to find that artist! The rooftop pool was perfect. Perfect temperature and nice area to relax and unwind. The rooftop kitchen allows you to bring snacks and refreshments, so that was nice. The kitchen is well appointed and we were able to make some meals while we were there. We had a small problem with the door not locking when we first arrived, but we called and they came within 10 minutes and fixed it right away and we never had a problem after that. Thank you for letting us stay in your place. We did enjoy Puerto Vallarta very much and we will be back to visit in a quieter location. Thank you.

Amazing Ocean Views! Great property

Love the views of the bay/beach from the condo. The photos and description are as advertised. We want to return! The balcony was great to hang out with coffee/evening cocktail. The condo is well furnished and was comfortable and very clean/well maintained. We loved the "bonus" of having 2 full bathrooms with walk in showers! As we were there in the summer/August the AC worked wonders to keep the place (and us!) cool. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pans, etc. Enjoyed doing some cooking while looking out over the ocean. Property manager Moises was great. He contacted us before our stay. Met us at the condo when we arrived, showed us around, etc. Very helpful. A big plus to the property is the roof top infinity pool. We spent a lot of time in the pool and it was great. Amazing views from the top of the building to all of PV. There are 2 entrances - the main off Highway 200 - had about 7-8 steps up to the front door of the condo. The lower Amapas entrance led to the street - you take an elevator down and you are right on the street. A small slope down into the Romantic Zone. Steep stairs to the beach or you can follow the road on the next block. Several small grocery stores in easy walking distance. Negative - we though shower pressure was a bit weak. Also road noise in bedroom in mornings. Noise from Almar Rooftop Bar - not a big deal at all - enjoyed the show - ended at 10:30 pm. It was only 2x during our stay. Don't miss out on this rental!

Sunsets and storms

Great balcony and ocean views. Perfect location to beach, Malecon, shops, restaurants, pier, easy to walk and enjoy the cobblestone streets on foot. Condo is well layered out, open kitchen with all your needs met, and a/c when u need to revive from the heat/humidity of the day so u can go back out. Very comfortable bed with geckos sera adding us at night, and birds welcoming he morning. Saw great shows from the balcony facing sky top bar, fireworks several nights over ocean, and dolphins in the morning while enjoying coffee on the balcony. Got to enjoy a couple of lightening storms from the couch too. Would stay here again, it had everything we expected and more.

Beginning in 2003, it had been a dream to buy property in Vallarta and spend relaxing vacations there. This little paradise evokes the wonderful feelings I had visiting tropical places as a child, like Guaymas, Mexico, and later the same feelings I had while living in the tropics of the Philippines and Hawaii.

There is something magical about Vallarta that draws you into the town, its culture, the people. But it is thoughts of warm sun, ocean breezes, lively beaches, great food and margaritas, and the hospitality of this charming city that has me and so many others returning year after year.

Why they chose this property

I first visited Amapas 353 during its construction phase in November, 2012. The model unit was open and friends and I walked through that unit - admired the attention to detail in the construction of the building and unit, then saw the incredible view and fell in love. My friends actually bought a unit in the building that trip, but I hesitated. In June 2016, I finally have my own place in paradise and happy to own that same model unit that I walked into years ago.

Guests enjoy the property in part because Amapas 353 is within walking distance of an incredible variety of restaurants, bars, and shopping. Los Muertos Beach is known for beach clubs, some with pools, DJs, and others with music groups playing songs for young (and old) travelers. The atmosphere is lively and you are guaranteed to have a memorable experience! The Romantic Zone in Puerto Vallarta or Old Town Vallarta is a famous “people watching” location day or night. And in addition to bars and restaurants, you can also look forward to the galleries that have become a trendy stop while visiting Puerto Vallarta.
