This house, in its green setting, has a garden, a 200m2 terrace and a private swimming pool where only you can swim 15 minutes from the heart of Lyon. Fully open to the outside thanks to bay windows, the living area is approximately 230 m2 spread over 2 levels. Large living spaces where everyone will find their place Housing

The house is bathed in light and sun thanks to its southern exposure You will find the charm of the old, French ceiling, exposed stones combined with modernity.
The ground floor is composed of a large living room, lounge area with wood stove around which you can gather with family or friends as well as a large contemporary kitchen where you will find all the equipment necessary for cooking.

It was a lovely break in Lyon. The house was spacious and the outside area was lovely. It was easy to get around the area from the location of the villa.

The house was incredibly beautiful, comfortable and clean. We were all very impressed by the lighting of the rooms, the comfortable beds and the excellent showers with abundant hot water. The pool was cleaned during our stay and that was very appreciated. The only negative was that the pool was not heated, and we would have enjoyed it much more if the water was not freezing.Also, Patricia allowed us to check in early and gifted us a welcome bag with wine, pastry, local cheese and a fresh baguette! I definitely recommend this property.

Lived up to its online description. Spacious, comfortable, clean, a good place to retreat to for our family group of nine at the end of a busy day. The pool was especially appreciated during the hot summer weather. Close by shops, dining, an excellent boulangerie, and public transport. Host was easy to reach and helpful. We'd love to return in the future!

Such a beautiful stay

100% recommend this house. It was perfect for my family’s first international vacation! Beautiful pool and large rooms and spacious house. The hosts greeted us with goodies from the best bakery in the area which we went back to every morning. A beautiful and stunning stay. Would recommend to anyone coming to visit Lyon! l’Ile Barbe Ideal !

What a great house - impressive, historic property with plenty of space for our group to spread out. The warm weather meant we spent most of the time in the terrace/pool area and used the outdoor kitchen and grill to cook on. Check in was easy with the hosts greeting us at the house, allowing us to leave our bags there before check in. They explained the property and the area providing a personal touch . The house was clean and spotless with good linens and towels. Also good kitchen equipment and plenty of glasses and crockery. One thing to note is that this is a 5 bedroom property, with one of those bedrooms being a cabine-style room within a larger en-suite bedroom. The local area is great. We loved Boulangerie Jocteur, the restaurant Au Porte Pot, and the roast chicken man on Sundays ! Getting in to Lyon was a breeze on the bus and metro. No car needed at all. This was a great base for the rugby, for wine tours on the days between games, and exploring the various neighborhoods of Lyon. We’ll be back next time we’re in Lyon

Family gathering in Lyon

This was an ideal location for a multi-generation gathering. We were close to great local shops and a supermarket. We used Uber mostly to reach the historic downtown Lyon, however the bus route is only a short walk down the hill. The house had plenty of space for all members of the group to have privacy. The pool was used daily to beat the summer heat. The kitchen was well-equipped and the grill was great.

Exceptional property.

This house is loved. It shows! For our family get together it met all our needs. We cooked, used the well furnished kitchen rather than eat out, due to some allergies, and it was a pleasure. The pool was a lifesaver in the hot weather. Well located once we understood the transit system. We would return to this elegant property in a heartbeat. Hosts were friendly and helpful whenever needed, responding to questions quickly. A memorable week for the Canadian crew and a good break for the London members. Thanks to Patricia and Marc for hosting this special Lyon townhouse.

Agréable séjour

Nous avons passé 10 agréables jours en août en famille (5 adultes). Nous avons été bien accueillis à l'arrivée et les propriétaires ont été de bon conseils pour les sorties. La maison est grande, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. Nous avons bien profité de la grande terrasse et de la piscine de taille correcte. Le chemin de fer à l'arrière de la maison ne nous a pas gêné du tout. A noter que seuls le rdc et le 1er étage sont à la disposition des vacanciers car le 2eme étage est un appartement, avec vue sur la terrasse mais avec un accès indépendant, loué par ailleurs. Nous recommandons cette location bien située, au calme, dans Lyon tout proche de la Saône.

Beautiful house, generous and experienced hosts. Great location for exploring Lyon.

Recommended. Beautiful and spacious home away from home. Well equipped. Experienced and attentive hosts. The outdoor kitchen is a real plus during hot weather. The 5th bedroom is connected to one of the rooms with a double bed so this one is best suited for a family with young children. One of the bedrooms is at the back of the house which means there can be noise from the train tracks if windows are open during hot weather.

Beautiful location

Wow what a gorgeous part of France ! This area is Devine- easy to get to the heart of Lyon and yet far enough that you have some space. Patricia’s home is beautiful, filled with character and charm. Great kitchen inside and out and a lovely outside area for lounging by the pool. What a treat to stay here !

Tres agreable séjour

On était a la maison pour 4 jours avec 8 adultes et un enfant de 3 anneées. Ca nous a plu beaucoup. La maison est tres belle, la piscine est une grande atout en la communication et tout marchait bien. C'était vraiment une location exceptionelle.
