We really enjoyed our one week stay here. It was close to the all the venues we were interested in, restaurants and golf courses. The heated pool and spa were thoroughly enjoyed, and everything was well equipped and easy. We would definitely consider staying here again

Terrific Home and Host

Terrific home for a family vacation. Open floor plan much appreciated for spending time with family. single level, beautiful floors worked well for my 87 year old mom and her walker. In contrast to other homes I have rented, during 5 day stay everything worked - no burned out light bulbs, jaccuzi that wouldn't jaccuzi, etc. had a few minor questions and the owner host is very responsive and helpful. A most enjoyable stay!

A+ Home in North Scottsdale

Recently retired, my spouse and I desired to spend extended time in Arizona in Spring 2023. We chose John's home and it did not disappoint. The gated community is on McDowell Mountain nearby hiking paths, golf courses, grocery stores, and fantastic restaurants. The house boosts many upgrades including massive primary bedroom with side office- 2 closets and incredible shower in main bathroom, 4 total bedrooms (3 with king size beds & 1 queen), work out room, spacious kitchen area with table, dining room with table for 8, fireplace and bar. There are 5 TVs and the internet worked great. Backyard has heated jacuzzi (included) and pool (minimal extra cost to heat in cooler months), firepit, grill and outdoor bar. However, the highlight is the amazing view over the valley and mountain since the home is at the highest point in the neighborhood. John was great with work with and pays attention to the details. Items provided are pool towels, golf clubs, tennis rackets, detergent, shampoo, to name a few. We definitely will be staying in this home on our future visits.

We just wrapped up 9 days at this property and it was a 5 star experience all around for our 4 adults and three kids. Communicating with the owners was a breeze and they were extremely responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is beautifully decorated and has all the items you need for your stay. The couch, lounger and beds are very comfortable. Loved the shower in the master bathroom. The backyard is incredible! The pool, hot tub, large lounger create a relaxing environment. The views from the backyard and house are fabulous! We enjoyed several magnificent sunsets! John and Kimberly are very accessible and fantastic owners--ensuring all of our needs were exceeded! Would definitely recommend this property and stay again!

Family vacation

Our family of six rented this suburban home in late December and had an excellent experience. The price and amount of living space were amazing compared to the two resort hotel rooms we were considering.. The location was centrally located north/south between hiking at pinnacle peak and old town Scottsdale. It was about three minutes off the northeast part of the 101 highway loop. Kids (whole family) loved the heated pool and hot tub, despite the cool weather we got. Pictures of the place were very accurate including the views from the backyard which were nice. The owners Kimberly & John were organized and easy to communicate with on the way in and way out. Overall a nice spot & great value that we would absolutely consider for our next visit to AZ.

By far the best vacation rental we’ve ever experienced!

This unbelievable home is more amazing than the photos show. Quiet neighborhood, walk out the door and go for a run or a great walk or hike on the paved trails thru the desert. This home is fully stocked, so much so, that we went to the excellent Safeway nearby and BBQ’d salmon one night, then steak, then chicken, etc., with all the extras because this kitchen has EVERYTHING! Even a Kerig with Pumpkin Spice pods! No restaurant has the view or the ambiance of this home. The sunsets were spectacular, and the morning sun streaming into the kitchen is perfect. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub every morning and evening as well as the gas firepit outside. We golfed at a different course every day and didn’t even have to fly here with our clubs because this home even has golf clubs! And they were good clubs too! I discovered a nice driver in one of the bags that makes me appear to be a decent golfer, so I am buying one like that for Christmas! No resort can hold a candle to this place. I cannot wait to come back to this heavenly home!

Wonderful vacation in a lovely home located in a great area!

We spent a week in the house and found it to be even more lovely than the pictures represented. It is close to golf shopping and all that Scottsdale has to offer. The fully equipped kitchen and beautiful outdoor space made staying in as nice as going out. Kimberly and John are wonderful and responsive hosts. We will definitely come back!

If you have ever stayed at a Four Seasons Hotel, you will understand 6-star customer service. This was our experience with John and Kimberly - every small detail was looked after. They are very focused on making sure that their guests have all of their needs attended to promptly. We recently stayed at this home for a full month. I have to say that we feel like it’s our home with respect to the luxurious finishings (same Granite tops as our own kitchen) and high end appliances. The family room is outstanding with the most comfortable sectional ever! And the large screen TV is well positioned versus other homes we have seen where the viewing angle hasn’t been considered. The kitchen is so well equipped with high end appliances and all the spices, etc. you need to prepare meals. Having a choice of two coffee makers has been a huge plus and the two fridges inside, plus the outdoor fridge by the BBQ are over the top. The home is is well laid out, upscale and comfortable. The in-house gym is a huge plus. The backyard is like “being on top of the world” with panoramic sunsets that are beyond compare. And, the outdoor fire pit is the perfect place late at night for a cocktail or s’mores, and a dip in the pool in complete privacy! The hiking trails are just one block away and the community has paved trails, which is a huge plus. The house is a very short walk away from McDowell Mountain Golf course to play a round - and the club house, when you don’t feel like cooking, is a great spot for a drink and dinner as the sun sets. We love it here, and we’ll be back soon!

We absolutely made the right the choice to stay here at John and Kimberly's property. From the original confirmation, the thorough details for getting to/into the home, the complete "Welcome Manual" for everything we needed to know about the home/access/features etc...beautifully furnished, clean, perfectly stocked with linens, beach towels, any appliance, cooking utensils you might need in the kitchen...it was professionally done. The House and the outdoor area, pool/hot tub/bar/grill/lawn and pool furniture..the photos on the VRBO website absolutely did them justice! Have to say everything was perfect! We will be back!
