Location 10/10Apartment is 8/10. The space inside is great, However, while it was expected to not have air-conditioning, the plug-in fans were old (one of which has a broken stand). Cleaning fees are excessive despite seeing many webs/dead bugs. But they do not provide any napkins or paper towels, and only provided a couple of sample packets of soap. Our advice is prepare to bring a lot of domestic items.Host themselves (Lake Como Holiday) is 4/10: Keep in mind they are a company and won’t attend to your needs or address any questions. While they give you check-in instructions, you’ll have difficulty finding the apartment despite the Google Map points. It would’ve helped if they provided pictures of the outside gate and where to find the lockbox. When you have a problem, they’ll give you the same message to call the maintenance people if you have issues. When we did not have hot water on the first day, it took time to get a response from the host but eventually understood to call a maintenance person to fix it. However, one of the Lake Como Holiday employees was not empathetic. She thought we should’ve watched tutorial videos on how to fix this on our own instead of contacting the maintenance people, which was totally insensitive on her end despite she was informed that the water heater was turned off in a separate room outside our apartment. Another employee said it wasn’t their fault but a good host should double check everything (elect/water) before a guest checks in.
