We very much enjoyed our holiday at Hawthorn .
We very much enjoyed our holiday at Hawthorn ... Although it's quite a secluded location it is close to all local amenities and villages . The cottage has absolutely everything you might need and more , it's basically a home from home . Our hosts were wonderfully kind , even leaving us and our dog welcome hampers . I would highly recommend Hawthorn and we will definitely be visiting again . A fabulous holiday location .
Many thanks to Mary and Graham .

Excellent spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
Excellent spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Quiet, far enough away from traffic noise, no light pollution for those who enjoy a star light evening, with stunning sunsets. Friendly owners who are happy to give help and leave you to enjoy the excellent accommodation and grounds. Donkeys, and a horse, with sheep and cows in the nearby fields were friendly and entertaining. Cannot fault the cottage which had everything you could possibly need. We were greeted with a welcome pack of the necessities and even one for our Labrador. Thank you Graham and Mary for such a lovely stay. Cant recommend these cottages highly enough.

Very warm welcome from Graham & Mary and not forgetting Gruff, the doggy welcome basket was a lovely touch as was the home laid eggs in ours. The early morning alarm from the donkeys was a lovely sound, the cottage was quiet warm and full of charm. Lovely location to areas of interest and the information folder provided was carefully put together as full of lovely walks, local dog friendly pubs to frequent.
Will be returning again in 2020 if not before.
