Lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Murton.
Lovely cottage in the beautiful village of Murton. Surrounded by stunning countryside and with easy access to Gower’s amazing coastline and beaches. We loved it so much we’ve booked to go back!

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location for accessing the beeches and facilities of the Gower.
Lovely cottage in a wonderful location for accessing the beeches and facilities of the Gower. It's a mile to Caswell, less than 10 mins to the Mumbles. It's a stone cottage with very thick walls so cool on hot days, it comes with lots of space and is very well equipped. The onsite farm shop is brilliant and open Fridays and Saturdays and the local pub has great food
The owner, Mrs Evans, is lovely -very helpful. And friendly.
Any downsides? Well energy charges are an extra which is unusuall but not a lot of money.
Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a wonderful family Christmas at Murton Farm Cottage, welcomed by a beautifully decorated real Christmas tree and some other lovely, thoughtful and festive touches provided by the owner. A perfect location for us with family living in the village. Conveniently located, with its own farm shop and other amenities within easy (flat) walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely quiet setting village shop 1 min pub within 5 min walk park 2 min. No WiFi so take note. Thick walls deter mobile phone signal but fine outside. Easy reach of Mumbles and Gower.

Cottage was in a quiet area, some traffic using the side entrance down to the farm at the back of cottage but not enough to cause an issue. Very clean, some parts of the cottage a little dated perhaps, bedrooms spotless, lovely clean white linen (all bedding provided).
Small local shop a very short walk away, post office. Lovely walks directly from cottage, play area very close, walk down to the beach is around a mile, coffee shop there. Other beaches, exploring 20 to 30 mins away, Swansea approx 20 mins.
Cottage has no wi-fi, not a problem if you want to get away from it all.
Electricity and gas usage to be paid for but it wasn’t expensive.
All in all a lovely break in a lovely part of Wales.
