Step inside and be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave and all the necessary appliances and utensils to whip up delicious meals. Gather around the dining table or step outside to the patio and fire up the grill.

After a day of exploring, retreat to the cozy living room where you can enjoy the smart TV with cable or hang out on the back patio and enjoy the outdoor living space. Stay connected with the high-speed WiFi, or take advantage of the in-unit washer and dryer.

Please put all indoor trash in the outside containers. Please put out the trash for pickup if you are leaving on a Friday. (or a Saturday in case of a Monday holiday week).
Please power off all electronics. Please put all the outdoor seat cushions in the garage. Please ensure all the bikes are back in the garage.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please observe quiet hours are from 11 pm to 7 am.

The perfect stay!

This vacation home is simply perfect -- so bright and cheerful! Comfortable and clean! A great, quiet location and we had everything we needed. Sure enjoyed our coffee on the patio with comfortable cushioned seating. Would definitely come back!

This was a perfect place for our family. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go as a family. Nice set up in the back yard to relax and let kids play. Having bikes available was a fun time for a family to pull the toddlers around, Easy walk to playground and beach, We will book this property again,

Wonderful Coronado rental

The lovely house had everything one could want. The beds were terrific and the kitchen was superbly equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the avocados from the tree in the perfect backyard. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was located conveniently with only a short walk to the beach and Orange Avenue.

Beautiful Coronado Home

Great home in a quiet neighborhood... near the beach and all the fun things to do in Coronado! Four bedrooms and beautiful new kitchen/great room. Wonderful fenced in back yard with grill and seating for 10! Outdoor shower for when you get home from beach.. Bikes/boogie boards/ beach chairs and umbrellas all provided with home. Highly recommend this home for families or to gather friends at the beach! We will definitely be back!

Best beach vacation!

This was our second July at this home- we love everything about it... owners are excellent at communicating... Home is spotless with brand new fabulous kitchen and the outdoor area (front and back) is perfect for spending lots of time outdoors relaxing, playing, and dining. Very quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach... Bikes and boogie boards provided! We highly recommend this VRBO for families and pets!! Love it!

Newly Renovated Home

We stayed at this thoughtfully renovated home for the months of January and February. This is the fifth year we have rented a house through Colleen and Scott. The house is a short walk to one of the best beaches in the US. Beach bikes, sand toys, sand chairs, boogy boards and beach towels are provided. The house is perfect for family vacations. As always, when renting from Colleen and Scott, you will find the house very clean and well equipped for an enjoyable stay in beautiful Coronado. We’ll be back next year!

We Keep Coming Back

We have rented a Coronado vacation house from owners Scott and Colleen for at least one month every year for the past six years. They are the best landlords as they do everything possible to make staying in their house enjoyable. All the positive comments about this house in the other reviews are true and I would have a difficult time saying more than what others have expressed without being redundant. We are already committed for next year and are looking forward to another pleasant “winter” in Coronado.

Comfortable, clean, quiet - Great host!

We love staying here. This has become our go to vacation rental. Colleen and Scott are amazing hosts. The house is always immaculate and they provide every possible amenity to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The north island neighborhood is very quiet, almost a different world than just a few blocks south. We wake up every morning and walk to the beach. The grocery store is a short walk into town. Bikes and beach toys are provided and well maintained. We honestly hate to review this so highly because we want to save this gem all for ourselves. Can't wait for our next visit. Well worth every penny we spend on it.

Beach Within Reach

This is the third time we have rented a Coronado a home through Scott and Colleen and the first time for this particular house. The house itself is located in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach. It has been recently updated including new bathroom renovations. As with our past experiences in renting from Scott and Colleen, we could be assured the house would be clean and inviting and it is. No need to bring much for your stay as bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and kid's sand toys are included. The weather could have been better, but it was certainly much better than from where we came. We have already committed to being back next year.

Plenty of space for our family!

Flew from the East coast for a conference being held in San Diego. Spent time some time in this beautiful house, the pictures do not do it justice. Owners are great to work with and respond quickly. The living area and kitchen wide open and well stocked with plenty of plates, pans, glasses, etc. Enjoyed coffee in the am on the front patio, afternoon sunshine in the back yard. Plenty of beach chairs, water toys and towels. I would definitely recommend it for people coming to the San Diego area, or Coronado especially. Easy to get around the island with the bikes provided by the owner. This place is centrally located on the island, well-kept and highly clean as well.

Coronado Vacation Home

This home had everything we needed for our vacation stay! It’s very clean, newly remodeled and sits in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe at night! The home has a great outdoor patio to enjoy eating and barbecuing outside. We loved riding the bike cruisers to the beach which takes about 5 minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back! Pack your suits and get ready because this is a gem of a place.

The house is perfectly located in Coronado in a quiet neighborhood just blocks from the beach, Orange Ave, the bay, and the Coronado Ferry. This home comes nicely accommodated with bikes, plenty of necessities for the beach, a wonderful patio and grill, cable, and so much more! If you're looking for a place that feels like "home away from home" I would highly recommend!

Five Star Gem in Coronado

This home is everything it is advertised and more! Fabulous location within walking distance to the beach and a very short bike ride to downtown. The owner has thought of everything--beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards and bikes-- all in excellent condition. The home is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Plenty of good quality linens and bath towels and thoughtful touches for guests to get started like shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The kitchen is perfect for families and friends to gather and well stocked with all the basics. We've stayed in many vrbo homes over the years and this is among the best. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing, Homey & Welcoming

Colleen & Scott's home is relaxing and welcoming! The furnishings are cozy and the location excellent! I loved sitting on the shaded patio for morning coffee & welcomed with the National Anthem playing in a distance at the Naval Base!. Close to the beach, downtown and the ferry for a quick trip to see the Padres! There was everything one would want, grill, patio areas, bikes, beach toys and chairs, beach towels, kitchen pans and utensils, comfortable furniture, etc. We really enjoyed ourselves, in fact so much we have rebooked the home for next year are eager to return! Thanks Colleen & Scott!

Great family home

Really enjoyed this very spacious home. The location was close to everything. You can walk anywhere on the Island from this location especially the beach! The inside of the house is nicely decorated and very clean. Looking forward to next years visit.

Great space for family, fun, and close to all that beautiful Coronado has to offer...a must!

So much room for gatherings, including nooks for some quiet reading. The bedrooms were gorgeous and well appointed, very comfy with high quality linens and mattresses. Lots of storage and plenty of dishes/cookware in the charming and large kitchen. Our family enjoyed meals on the back patio, surrounded by greenery and birdsong. We enjoyed some great seafood as well as some local brewed beers, took the ferry to San Diego downtown and rode the bikes (four great cruisers in the garage) around Seaport Village. The beach is amazing and we now understand why Coronado beach is on the top ten list every year. The neighborhood is beautiful and we felt very much at "home" during our stay. If you are looking for a beach house rental with everything you need for a relaxing and memorable vacation, call the folks, call the kids, bring the pups (pet friendly!), and head over to Coronado Island. Isn't it about time for a fun family getaway?

Great Family Vacation Home--Comfortable, Convenient & Care-free

Clean and spacious, this home perfectly accommodated our family. Everyone had space and privacy when they needed it and there was plenty of room for us to gather for meal sharing and game playing. Bedrooms were restful and quiet, despite the crowd, and offered ample storage for belongings. Beds & bedding were pretty and high quality while not fussy. Similarly, sofas and chairs were big, cushy and super comfortable. It was easy to relax both inside and outside. We particularly enjoyed the 4 bicycles which were used recreationally and to make quick trips into town and to the beach, only a few blocks away. The beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys were put to get use as well. The weather was cool enough that we could leave windows open to enjoy the sea air, but it was nice knowing air conditioning was available if we needed it. The owner was very friendly and thoughtfully called to check in with us to see if we needed anything. We plan to return as soon as we can!
