Situated on the north edge of Windermere village, this traditional detached cottage has a range of social spaces for relaxing and four bedrooms, each with their own en-suite shower room.
Downstairs, you will find a cosy living room with open fire, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the local area. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen and a large dining room for entertaining. There is also a small living room two, set up as a TV room with a comfortable sofa and a conservatory overlooking a beautiful, mature private garden. Completing the line-up is a cloakroom/utility room and boot room with plenty of storage for all your outdoor gear.
Upstairs, there are four bedrooms with their own en-suite. Three of the bedrooms sleep two with the option of utilising a sofa bed in one of the double rooms, which would accommodate an additional adult or two extra children. The final room is a family room with a double and two single beds. All the en-suites have showers and there is separate large waterfall bath in its own room.
The cottage is set in the heart of the Lake District with walks, cafes, restaurants and pubs on the doorstep. With the nearest shop, pub and restaurant within ¼ mile, and located just over a mile from Windermere station and on the bus route between Windermere and Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick, the Cottage is well positioned for guests to enjoy all the attractions that this beautiful area has to offer.
Lake Windermere is a short distance away with its dramatic backdrop of wooded slopes and bare fells. In addition to the Lake and some beautiful walks, nearby attractions include the Windermere Jetty Museum, The World of Beatrix Potter, the National Trust property of Townend and the award winning RHS Partner Garden, Holehird Gardens.
