Retaining many original features, it makes a very comfortable year round retreat with immediate access to the scenic, historic Borders route to Edinburgh. Riding, a sports centre, the Langholm Walks, Buccleuch Theatre, golf and fishing are nearby. Shops and pubs 5 miles.

Beautiful quiet place

Accommodation was perfect. Old charming school home full of character. Plenty of space and nice gardens. Only issue is the driveway is hard to find and get out of but that aside there were no issues.

Christmas at Ewes Schoolhouse was fantastic! You never know quite what it will be like when you arrive, but the cottage was better than we could have imagined and the Christmas decorations were amazing. The location is just beautiful to get away from it all and there are lots of beautiful walks to take the family and dog. A huge thank you to the host and would highly recommend!
