The cottage is in a super location for walking through the Craik forest albeit 20 minutes from the town so you need your own transportation. The cottage it self was very comfortable and warm. I would say it was great value for the money I paid and would definitely book again.

The location of this cottage is absolutely stunning, walks from the door straight into the forest with wonderful scenery. The cottage itself is very comfortable, cosy and warm if a little dated and tired in places. I was disappointed to find the cooker hob needed a good wipe down (looked like someone had fried a breakfast and not cleaned up) and there were dried bits of food on the worktops. We also had to wash some crockery and cutlery before we used it.
