The Stable Nest offers all the benefits of a hotel room but with the added bonus of a fully equipped kitchen. It is perfect for self catering, but with so many attractions, pubs and restaurants on your doorstep, you’ll be far too busy enjoying yourself to bother cooking! There are regular boat trips over to Ambleside and Lakeside, the latter of which is home to the Lakes Aquarium. From here you can also take a steam train along the Lakeside-Haverthwaite railway.
