Lovely cottage, beautiful setting.

Lovely cottage, beautiful setting. Super comfy beds. Everything you need in the cottage. The parking is at the top of a steep drive but not a problem for us. The garden is not connected to the cottage so not totally ideal for the dogs.

Second time at Tottsie, it was lovely to stay there again.

Second time at Tottsie, it was lovely to stay there again. Improvements made include a dishwasher which was helpful. Beautiful views from the cottage and easy access to woods behind for walking the dog. Quirky garden access arrangements removes usefulness of the garden but that's a minor point with the Lake District on the doorstep.

Charming old cottage with brilliant views of Skidaw and the Derwent valley.

Charming old cottage with brilliant views of Skidaw and the Derwent valley. The facilities inside the cottage are very good and clean. Everything worked and I had a nice chat with the lady who's carport you need to go through to reach the garden. We had a good week with the weather so parking 50 yards from the cottage in a lay-by was not a problem, though may of been a bind had the weather been awfull. Would go again.

Lovely comfortable cottage. Very well equipped. Good location to access the lakes. Superb views. Shame there wasn't direct access to the garden and garden could have benefited from some nice flower borders and nicer seating. Wi-fi would be good but overall a lovely place to stay.

Lovely cottage, only downfall no wifi.

Lovely cottage, only downfall no wifi. Upstairs bathroom has a toilet thats not connected to the main drain, sadley this smelt and toilet needed a good clean it was stained.....no fitting plug on sink as it was broken....it had been a push down one, could loose thinys down it. Plastic one there but didnt fit to hold water. Ensure you do take tea/coffee etc I've not stayed anywhere wher you don't get left something. Make sure you do take food no shops near to pick any up after a long journey. Otherwise lovely place to stay.
