Enjoy enviable, far reaching views over the Nidd Valley from the elevated position. Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is all around and wants to be explored, by foot, by bike, by you! The Nidderdale Way long distance path passes close by. Wickwoods is just 2 miles from Pateley Bridge where you will find a varied selection of individual country shops, together with pubs, tea rooms and restaurants. A little further afield is the spa town of Harrogate with its Turkish baths, Georgian theatre and enough shops to satisfy the most avid shopaholics. Visit the Royal Horticultural Society Garden Harlow Carr, or National Trust properties such as Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal and the amazing Brimham Rocks. Discover Grassington with its famous festival and cobbled streets, or why not explore How Stean Gorge? Perhaps take a trip into the Yorkshire Dales National Park or York, where historical sites abound.
