Set in a quiet residential area, yet close to the wide, sandy beach of West Runton, Sea Glimpse is a much-loved, detached holiday home with everything you need for a relaxing seaside break. It is just a short walk from the beach, with shingle at high tide, but soft sand and an array of rock pools when the tide is out. Less well known than the famous ones of Sheringham and Cromer, it provides a more relaxing setting.

The coastline is littered with pretty seaside towns and villages offering great places where you can eat and shop, as well as having beautiful beaches, marshes and quays. Visit Cromer, with its Edwardian seafront and famous pier, or for a change of pace, head to the Norfolk Broads and hire a day boat or join a cruise.

West Runton itself has a shire horse centre, and close by you will also find Amazonia Zoo, several museums, the Thursford Collection (collection of steam engines, organs and fairground attractions), the Mucklebugh Collection (a military museum), numerous National Trust properties and stately homes, not to mention walks and cycle routes galore, and lots of bird watching opportunities. In fact, there’s so much to do, you’re sure to book Sea Glimpse again so you can come back and fit it all in. Beach 800 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Really excellent location.

Really excellent location. House very homely and comfortable. Access to drive parking quite tricky because of overgrown shrubs. Unable to see any possible stones on the edge of the borders. Also path to key box overgrown and quite hard to pass. We would definitely stay here again.

Bathroom issues.

This is a lovely house that was very comfortable and warm with lots of space. Very convenient location. Our problem was the downstairs shower cubicle was to small and narrow to use and the shower upstairs leaked because the screen has a gap at the bottom. Also the downstairs sink needs a new plug so that the water doesn't disappear. Apart from that everything was fine.

Sea Glimpse is a lovely house in a quiet village but walkable to the beach.

Sea Glimpse is a lovely house in a quiet village but walkable to the beach. The house is opposite The Links Hotel and golf course (perfect if you play golf) but it is still very quiet and peaceful. The area is perfect for visiting the coastal towns and three lovely NT properties are close by and well worth a visit. We would have no hesitation in staying at Sea Glimpse in the future.

Pleasant and comfortable cottage in a quiet residential location yet near to the North Norfolk main

Pleasant and comfortable cottage in a quiet residential location yet near to the North Norfolk main road (A149) to facilitate easy access to all the north Norfolk locations and attractions. The unusual provision of SKY movies package was a definite advantage for rainy days - although the DVD player and games console provided downstairs had no connection leads to the TV so we couldn't use either which was a bit disappointing. Adverse weather and time of year limited out use of the outside accommodation but it did look very attractive and well maintained.
