The house is really lovely and perfect for a group.
The house is really lovely and perfect for a group. The beach is so close, easily accessed, quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed a fish and chip takeaway and a Chinese takeaway and the local shop is well stocked. Unfortunately the pub in the village has closed but the Poachers Pocket is a half hour walk along the beach and serves from breakfast through to the evening. Lovely pub in Walcott….The Lighthouse. I think you could walk it given time but it was about 7/8 mins drive. Next time we’ll try the walk. The whole area has plenty to do and is beautiful. We will definitely be back!
