Royal Apartment Gran Vía.

Our apartment is just 90 meters from Gran Vía Avenue, one of the most important arteries of the city and in an area full of shops and all the services of a big city. With access from Desengaño street, it is located on the second floor of a building protected for its architectural value and recently remodeled. The apartment is comfortably accessed from the elevator, where upon opening the door we find a cozy hall followed by the living room, dining room and open-plan kitchen (fully equipped), the latter with large doors leading to the balconies, from where you can see all the street and immediate buildings in addition to providing plenty of lighting and natural ventilation to the entire social area. In the background are the bedrooms, the main one with a king size bed and a full bathroom, another with a queen size bed, another with two single beds and one with a single bed and space to also place a cot; all could use another full bathroom for the rest of the rooms. These spaces are located around a central patio that illuminates the entire corridor that gives them access. Each room has its wardrobe with hangers, in the bathrooms there is a hairdryer, bath gel and shampoo. In the social area there is a toilet and a laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board, a laundry area and a cleaning closet. The spaciousness of the open spaces provides a lot of comfort and well-being that will be very well received by the visitor.

Very spacious kitchen/ dining area and cosy lounge area. Bright and airy with the 3 small balconies.The bedrooms are at the back of the appartment with the windows facing a small yard/ light well, it is a bit dark in the morning. We loved the appartment, perfect for 7 adults. And the lift opens right into the appartment. Please do take the staircase, it is stunning.

We had a great week in Madrid. This property is just as listed. The location is so walkable. The metro is five minutes away. Its quiet. There’s room to spread out a bit. A beautiful apartment with a great host.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was beautiful and was close to many attractions. Lilliana was very attentive, checking in with us upon our arrival and making sure we had settled in. We did have an issue with the hot water. She went out of her way to come over at 6:45 am to remedy the situation so that the six of us had hot showers before our 8:30 am tour. She went above and beyond to help us. I highly recommend this property for family/friend groups!

Vibrant Location and Stylish Accommodations

Perfect location for a family stay in the heart of the Gran Via area. Very close to great food, entertainment, shopping, and night life. Location is central for walking to a number of major attractions, and we enjoyed the night walks as much as the day since the city is well lit, the architecture stunning, and the people/traffic well behaved! If you want a local feel, taking walks away from Gran Via you will encounter regular life such as parents walking their kids to school and family run coffee shops where there is hardly a tourist in sight. The area is urban so you encounter all sorts of people out and about, yet we always felt safe, there is a police station just down the road, and it was easy to take the subway, taxi/uber, or walk. The place is nicely furnished, comfy beds towards the back for nights of silent sleeping despite being so close to the action, and we enjoyed being able to drink wine with the windows open and peek out from the balconies once in a while to see the outside.
