Wonderful vacation on a beautiful lake

We spent a lovely weekend in this beautiful cottage and could not love it more. Very private, very big lot facing the lake. You can enjoy the lake views from the living room, the kitchen, the master bedroom and the guest room. And those sunsets...We've already booked our summer week long vacation.

The property was expansive and well kept. The canoe, kayak and pedal boat were used daily and kept us all busy. The teens loved making their s’mores over the fire pit. The kitchen was clearly renovated and well stocked. The host was gracious, helpful and responded to all messages quickly. It was a relaxing week away.

Cozy, Peaceful, and Perfect for Family Time

We spent Easter weekend at this cottage and absolutely loved it. As a mom of three kids, finding a place that keeps everyone happy (and relaxed!) isn't easy—but this cottage did just that.The space was spotless and welcoming, with everything we needed for cooking, playing, and just hanging out together. The kids had a blast exploring outside while we enjoyed peaceful moments by the fire with a glass of wine. The view of the water is stunning, especially at sunset—it felt like we were a million miles away from city life.It’s quiet, spacious, and feels like a true escape. We made some beautiful memories here and will definitely be coming back in the summer.

Perfect Retreat at Pigeon Lake: Great Views and Great Vibes!

We had an awesome time at the Pigeon Lake cottage! It's got a huge private spot that makes you feel like you’ve got the whole lake to yourself. Watching the sunsets was definitely a highlight—super gorgeous and a great way to end the day.The cottage has everything you need. It’s cozy, well-equipped, and the decor is spot on. It feels like a real homey spot to kick back.The hosts were great too—friendly, helpful, and really made us feel welcome. They know the area well and gave us some great tips on how to make the most of our stay.Between hanging out by the lake, enjoying the quiet, and just soaking in the outdoors, there was never a boring moment. If you’re looking for a chill place to escape to and have some fun, this place at Pigeon Lake is just right. Highly recommend!

Our family spent the month of July at this beautiful home and we couldn't have enjoyed it more!

Sunsets, sunsets, sunsets! Every night of our stay we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the balcony - each a little different than the next. The home is perfect for someone with children, plenty of grass to run, swing set, trampoline and lots of toys to play with. We rented a boat for the month so we were able to boat into Bobcaygeon many many times for restaurants, shopping and trips to the ice cream store! The sand bar is also a quick boat ride away, where we spent many hours with the children playing in the water. We also visited the sandy beach many times and other parks and beaches near by. We loved our stay and hope to be back again next summer! Thanks for having us! :-)

Wonderful family cottage weekend - So good, we are going back!

Anna & Dimitri were wonderful hosts! This is now our 3rd cottage rental as we have tried to find the perfect spot. We found it here on Pigeon Lake! Our family slept well every night with great AC & comfy beds. The kitchen was well equipped for meal prep. The yard had lots to keep the kids occupied and the waterfront was perfect. The bottom was comfortable to stand on and the lake temp was great. We enjoyed the kayak and canoe. We had enough space to dock a 21' boat and enjoyed exploring the lake sandbar, Bobcaygeon & Buckhorn. The fire pit was perfect for sunset fires. Thank you Anna & Dimitri!

WOULD RECOMMEND!

We were a group of 6 adults- 4 young adult kids, my husband & I. Cottage has everything you could ever need … of particular note is the open concept kitchen, family room & eating area. Great space to prepare meals , and overall “eat,drink & be merry”! We were able to launch our jet skis at a nearby private access point ( Anna’s recommendation was great) & then tie them at cottage dock. Lots of green space for spike ball, camp fire, frisbee or just making use of the hammock. Host was always quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend & would return! Thank you Anna!

Wonderful stay, we will be back

So happy we looked towards Kawarthas instead of Muskoka this year and found this gem of a cottage! We were also lucky to have an amazing weather all week long. The cottage has a really big lake frontage, dock and a “beach” area for little kids to enjoy. The house is equipped with everything a family would need. So all we had to worry about was whether we should stay lounging at the cottage for the day or go boating…. We will be back!

Perfect Spot for a Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay! The location is very private and beautiful and there is so much to do - from canoeing along the shore, to endless boating on Pigeon and adjacent lakes, to swimming off the dock, to enjoying a sunset on the deck...we were never bored. It was so relaxing and we created great family memories. Will definitely book again.

Great Location for a Family!

This is a great location, especially if it's a family and you have young children, great outdoor space with lots to do and lots of toys if you have toddlers or small children. We rented a boat, highly suggested as they have sandbar on the lake where you can safely anchor and enjoy swimming in the middle of it and the water is only at your waist! There is a lot of amenities nearby (less than 10 minutes away), like a foodland and LCBO... As for the cottage the kitchen/dinning and family area is a great space for a family and outdoor veranda. The owner Anna, which I dealt with was very responsive and helpful as we were getting ready for our vacation, we had a lot of questions and she answered them all. We shared some concerns with her and they were quickly addressed, we also provided some feedback after our stay and it was well received. The only thing, is I would suggest you bring your own pillows, linen, blankets, one of the room had no curtains so we had to improvise to cover the windows. Enjoy!

My family very much enjoyed our time at this private cottage. The location, view and the amenities were exactly what we were looking for. The cottage accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids comfortably. The kitchen was excellent and the hosts provided all the essentials. I highly recommend this property and we will surely be back in the summer.

Modern cozy cottage on a gorgeous private lot

We had a blast during our stay! The kids were thrilled jumping on the huge trampoline, swimming, playing basketball and running around on this huge private property. And we enjoyed sitting on the patio and soaking in the surroundings natural beauty. And the sunsets are unbelievable. As for the house - it's all newly renovated open space equipped with all the modern amenities. We'll surely be back!

Beautiful, Comfortable cottage on a quiet lake

We spent a week at this lovely cottage with my family in early August. The property exceeded our expectations. It was big, clean and well equipped with plenty of room for five adults and four kids. The lake was quiet with little boat traffic and was steps away from the cottage with swallow water access from the dock and shore making it ideal for kids. I would recommend water shoes as the lake is rock bottom. The bedrooms were large and clean, the open concept kitchen was well equipped allowing for easy meal preparation. There is a large deck off the living room that is prefect for outdoor meals with lots of room for the kids to play. The owners were lovely, very responsive before and after our stay. Overall an excellent experience. We would definitely go back.

Great Cottage to stay with family

We spent a week at this beautiful spot with family and it was a great choice indeed. We loved the cottage as it has big rooms with enough beds for parents and kids. The living area is amazingly decorated with an open space concept and a big kitchen, with lots of light, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the front yard and lake. We enjoyed the outdoor patio as it is very big and provides enough space for dining and the kids can play there as well. Lake is very clear for swimming - you can swim from the dock. It has a shallow area for kids accessed from the dock as well. Overall amazing week spent at this beautiful location.
