Lovely accommodation, however, not in the best areas of town

People were great at communicating with, and Fredrick was lovely. Apartment was nice and adequate and air con was really good to have as most evenings it got far too hot! However finding the apartment was not easy as it was located in Portimao old town, and not the town centre. Very tight roads made it almost impossible for Uber’s to come and collect us. The shutter for the main bedroom was very hard to come down and would often get jammed leading to me pulling it down. However I loved my stay in Portugal and we used the apartment for my family to have a base, just somewhere to sleep and we visited the pool at my parents villa. Great base, but not a great location.

The description and pictures are very clear about the location. It is situated in the centre, which is one of the older parts of Portimão. We even told you the location and gave the address before booking. You told us that you knew where it as you have visited Portimao before and know the city very well. A bit unfair to start complaining about the location afterwards in a review.

Nice apartment, difficult parking, great for shopping

Overall a good experience nice spacious apt with good size veranda. It's very awkward to get close to for parking down narrow streets, for non drivers it's is fine, lift is small and can only carry small load.

Hello John, the apartment is in the centre of Portimao, it is not build for cars. Near the trainstation is an option, which is a 5 minute walk or you choose the parking garage which is 30 euros a week and a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Thanks for staying and your review.
