This is our lovely little apartment,
Located on the sixth floor (there is no elevator) in an ancient building in the historic center, among shops, banquets and every convenience. Pretty, bright, on two floors, a welcoming entrance and bathroom, a large double bedroom on the first floor, the kitchen and breakfast area and a lovely attic on the second floor. The apartment is extremely quiet during the night. Our small beautiful terrace dominates the surrounding roofs and from here you can relax watching the view.
The alley below pulsates with life and contradictions. Sometimes, only during the day, you might encounter "Misses" working in the street, but it's typical of the area. The neighborhood is ancient and evocative, in the oldest heart of Genoa.

This is our delightful little apartment,
Located in the old town, between shops, banquets and all conveniences. Lovely, bright, two storey building, cozy entrance and bathroom, large double bedroom on the first floor, kitchen and breakfast area, and a pretty mansard on the second floor. The apartment is extremely quiet at night. Looking out on the view.
The alley below is pulsed with life and contradictions. Sometimes, only in the daytime, you might be "Missiles" working in the street, but it's typical of the area. The neighborhood is ancient and charming, in the oldest heart of Genoa.

The apartment was awesome. It was spotless, with full kitchen, comfy bed, and incredible views from the rooftop patio in the heart of the neighborhood. Mirko was incredible and proactive with the communication, providing step by step guides (with pics) to help you navigate the windy alleys.

What a special place. Everything was as described and even better. Really got to experience what it’s like to be in the heart of the city. Lots of stairs but well worth it -especially for the roof patio with spectacular views. It’s nice to relax and listen to the sounds of the city up there. Mirko was very responsive and helpful. He pays attention to all the details like setting tue table for morning coffee which is provided. And there’s a water filter pitcher in the fridge, towels provided, and the bed is very comfortable. The apartment is also more spacious than I’d imagined. Only downside is I was only there for a couple of nights. Hope to make it back someday to stay longer.

Magical Apartment in Old Town Genoa

This place is really special! Great apartment that is spacious, quiet and very comfortable to stay in. Yes there are many stairs but well worth the climb. The rooftop patio has a quite unbelievable view of Genoa. From this location it was very easy to walk everywhere and explore the city. Just around the corner are so many great places to eat. Mirko was extremely helpful with his communication and that made it easy to find the apartment and check in. I would stay here again if I could!

The apartment is in the middle of the old port center of Genoa. It has no elevator and the atmosphere is exactly like an ancient port city. The interior is spread over three levels and is not modern, but very comfortably furnished. I felt at home here. I will gladly come again.

Mirko is an excellent, helpful, and attentive host. He makes sure you know everything you need to, and all the extras too. The apartment is in the center of town, literally steps to everything you could possibly want to see (and a few you might not—don’t let the prostitutes put you off, they are common in Genoa the guidebooks say). The kitchen is plenty large enough to make your own pasta and sauce, and the deck is great for morning coffee. Be aware: the stairs are no joke, and the ones to the roof deck are especially narrow and steep. This is a place for people who are in good health, but perhaps not great for anyone frail or with balance issues. Enjoy the museums, palazzos and history of Genoa with this affordable and gracious hideaway! Thank you, Mirko!

An amazing place, right in the middle of everything. Yes there are a lot of stairs. And yes there are some Ladies on the little streets, but the disappear in the evening, but I would stay here again! Mirko was a great host, easy to contact, gave very detailed instructions, and just made my short trip to Genoa amazing.

Très bon pied à terre perché dans la vieille ville

J'ai passé 5 jours dans l'appartement de Mirko pour découvrir Genes en solo et c'était pile ce qu'il me fallait. Un appartement en plein centre avec une mini terrasse donnant sur les toits, merveilleux le matin comme le soir pour sentir le pouls de la ville.
