The apartment is a recently refurbished, penthouse apartment in the Monte Dourado complex in the heart of Carvoeiro. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 30 second walk to the shops, bars and restaurants that Carvoeiro has to offer.

The apartment is situated over two levels: upstairs there are three generous bedrooms and two bathrooms whilst downstairs there is a spacious lounge, kitchen and WC. There are three large terraces across both levels enabling you to sit, eat, relax and catch the sun at all times of the day.

This condo is in an ideal location, for both local and nearby attractions. There is plenty of great space - especially loved the outdoor seating areas and the fact that there was so many balconies. Quiet even though above the local nightlife.

A great apartment just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. Town comes alive at night! Such a fun place. The apartment felt very safe and good parking right behind. Pool was beautiful. Marion the property manager was very easy to reach on WhatsApp and responded right away to my questions. Thanks for a great stay!

The property is in a great location in the centre of the town. There is no need for a car. It cost us (family of 6), only 13 for a taxi to slide and splash which is worth a visit. The accommodation is very spacious, over 2 floors and plenty of outdoor space. Ideal for any family of 6. The pool was excellent, it was never busy. My youngest loved the children’s pool which he had mainly to himself. We look forward to coming back to this apartment.

We are a British couple who love travelling and experiencing new cultures. Before we had children we travelled the world with our backpacks: hiking the Grand Canyon, camper-vanning to Uluru and diving all over South East Asia. After starting a family we decided to purchase and restore a farmhouse in Italy and split our time between the UK, Italy and Portugal so that our travels with our two young children would be more luxurious and relaxing.

Why they chose this property

The apartment is ideally located for a very relaxing a hassle-free holiday. It is so close to the pools, the beach and the bars and restaurants that you have plenty to entertain you without having to get in the car or walk more than a few metres.

What makes this property unique

It is unusual to find such a central apartment that is also so spacious. Spread over two levels with three balconies there is plenty of space for everyone.
