Spacious and well presented flat on the outskirts of town with its own parking spot. Apartment was clean and well equipped with a lovely large balcony area. Quite a walk to the town centre but closer to North and South Sands beaches. A great few days away with our family.
We where coming to Salcombe for a family wedding and thought it would be great to add a few days to our stay and just relax.
1 Shaws Corner was perfect, a beautiful apartment with everything you need with different areas to relax and the venue and the centre of Salcombe was in easy reach. Thanks Nicola , we will make a point of coming back .
A quiet and comfortable place to stay on the edge of Salcombe. 15-20 minute walk into town. Good bed and nice view from the spacious living room. Steps down to flat were fine for us, but might be tricky for some. Parking was a bit tight.

Extremely well equipped, very organised and clean, except for oven, which we had to clean.Spacious rooms.Pleasant view from the lounge and very advanced TV.Access rather difficult due to many descending steps.Heating very good in lounge/diner from storage heaters but bedrooms cold in morning and evening despite many requests.Many calls to housekeeper made but not answered in spite of messages left.

The apartment is accessed down two flights of steps from the private car park through an established garden area. Once through the porch and utility area we were met by a light and airy open plan lounge diner. The whole accommodation more than suited our needs for just us two adults. There were (I think) two other apartments above and a larger one to our right/below, each with their own balconies/sun decks. It was very quiet for our stay in early June, we didn’t see any other guests so nice and private. The kitchen is well equipped and found the whole place very clean. Would definitely recommend the accommodation and as for Salcombe and the surrounding areas… we absolutely loved it!
We had a lovely experience staying at 1 Shaws Corner. It is very modern and clean and a great location for walking both into town and North/South sands.
Our 3rd stay at Shaw’s Corner and each time has been better than the last. The flat is perfectly located close to Salcombe shops and restaurants but also walking distance from North Sands beach. The flat is perfect for a family of 4 with young kids - the bbq in the courtyard and balcony came into their own this trip.
Will hopefully be back again!
What a beautiful apartment with fantastic views from the balcony. Steps are a little steep but we managed to get my 88yr old Mum up and down them. There is everything you need for your stay in this fully equipped rental. Thank you Nicola.
We love Shaws corner. The 2nd visit even better than the first. A really good upgrade to the 2nd bedroom making it en-suite and a nice new porch.

Nice large balcony that catches the sun. It is well equipped and bathrooms are modern and clean. It is located out of town , prob 15 mins up hill but it kept us fit. Would not have wanted to be in town centre as parking or taking car out and about would have been more difficult.
The apartment is a secluded oasis of calm at the bottom of a flight of steps with it's own patio and balcony. It's is spacious enough to accomodate a family on those occasional damp English days and also provides a fantastic place to eat and enjoy each other's company. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. It is located between the town centre and the North and South Beaches. We enjoyed our stay very much - thank you.
Lovely decor, well layed out and comfortable. I'm very fussy about where I stay and found this apartment met all my requirements. The only slight improvement could have been with the balcony area - the plant pots are full of weeds and the rattan table is crumbling but neither of these things would put us off booking here again.
Apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious, very well equipped with everything we needed. We had lovely weather for our stay and the balcony was a sun trap. Would certainly stay there again.
Lovely clean and spacious property. Very well equipped and perfect for chilled out time away. It's a very steep walk back up from Salcombe but bejng so high up has the advantage of wonderful views out. Highly recommended!

Had a great week here. Exactly as described and a beautiful aspect overlooking the sea over the treetops. We only had the sun for 1 day but the balcony was a glorious spot to sunbathe when it did appear. Good communication and reasonably equipped
