Our stay at this rental home was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the property was not properly cleaned. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty, and the dishwasher was not functioning, making it difficult to maintain even basic cleanliness during our stay. The overall condition of the home was unacceptable. The rooms were filled with noticeable dirt and dust, and several towels provided were either stained or worn. In addition, some of the furniture was torn and broken, which made the space feel neglected and poorly maintained. As someone who suffers from severe allergies and asthma, the lack of cleanliness made me extremely uncomfortable and impacted my ability to fully enjoy the stay.I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made in cleanliness, maintenance, and overall care.Even though they said they were going to send someone to fix the issues they never did which costed me 2 days of waiting at the property for someone to come out and address the issues. Stay far away from this rental until they can get their act together, only good thing was the laundry room.
Very nice property! Plenty of space for my family of 8. Kitchen was well utilized as well as laundry and pool! Short and easy drive to all Disney parks. Fast and efficient communication with managers. Highly recommend!!

Thank you for the lovely review, Suzanna. It was a pleasure to host your family, and we hope to welcome you back again!
The house was ok. Things need to be updated. Especially the master beds. Both were broken, had a terrible sleep stay the whole week. My poor parents had to put mop bucket under bed so bed would not sink in as much. Master shower was not draining properly which was nasty. Furniture is worn down. Had to buy our own curtain as one of rooms had a constant light outside that would turn on non stop. Just was not what we were expecting for the money invested on this vacation. Tried to reach out to property before doing my review but no response. They did come out and fix the drain but that was it. We also had a neighbor who came and got upset with us over fireworks when we were not even lighting anything it was people down the street.

Hurricane Irma
Our stay was to be 09-07-09/14. We turned back on 09/06 due to the governor declaring a state of emergency. As well, per the news Orlando was running out of gas and supplies. We joined the thousands of people evacuating to the North since at that time Irma's path was unknown. Calling the manager at that time unfortunately was not my primary concern due to our unknown agenda. As well, he had told another member of our party that the only way we would be reimbursed would be if there was a mandatory evacuation. I called him after our return and he said we could not prove we weren't there! I said the house would be pristine since we didn't make it further than Tallahassee. In my view this a form of price gouging since we were without choices.

Dear Tammy,
We are most troubled by your review and do wish you had made the effort to call us at the time and explain your concern and desire to cancel your reservation/depart early. We would have been more than happy to work with you. While much of the east and west coasts of FL were evacuating north, they were also coming to the Central Florida area for safe shelter inland as advised by the Governor. We accommodated many evacuees from these areas. It's terribly unfair for you to accuse us of price gouging when you confirmed the reservation in advance with rates as advertised and priced very fairly with no subsequent changes. Furthermore, given you made no effort to reach out to us prior to check-in. There was absolutely no way for us to know you had either not arrived or departed early, as our housekeeping team arrives upon guest's noted departure. Many times, our homes are left in excellent condition, thanks to kind and caring guests who often go the extra mile. We feel your review is unreasonable and unfair, especially given you had our contact information and we always invite guests to contact us with any needs or questions. We pride ourselves on the level of our service. Regrettably, you gave us no opportunity to demonstrate this to you.
-The Team at FL Star Vacations
We had two families of four each. Kids aged 5-9. Stayed the week leading into Easter. Did Disney two days and Aquatica two days. Also spent a couple days on property at the community pool, mini golf and splash area. Kids enjoyed the splash area and mini golf and loved the community pool. There were plenty of chairs by the pool for adults. Kids loved the mini golf.
Fitness center was nice - some dumbbells, three treadmills, a couple ellipticals and bikes. Some stations to do presses and pull exercises. Great for vacation spot. Arcade was limited. All the community stuff is together and close to the house (easy walk). Plenty of parking spaces.
The place was sizable with plenty of room in the five bedrooms. Lots of bathrooms, including a powder room outside by the house pool. FYI the house pool is nice to take a dip but it is not as large as what it appeared to be in the picture. Great though for our kids to have a dip while we were in the house.
Place was clean, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, etc to cook in. A grill would be nice but one is available for rent. Kids found the bunks to be soft and cozy. First floor king was comfortable but definitely worn in. Kids liked the hallway desks to do their homework while away. :)
Location is near Champions gate golf course and there are plenty of restaurants, a Publix, a PNC Bank, a CVS, etc. You drive by that most of the time except when detouring around to avoid local traffic. Traffic was the biggest downside. You have to use I-4 to get almost everywhere and that road is a mess. It was under construction so that may have contributed but I know locals try and avoid I-4. It was 20 minutes to Disney parks with no traffic but our travel time was usually 35 minutes in the morning (still not bad, just plan accordingly). Hopefully when the road work is completed it will be smoother. Unfortunately there is no back road to use.
We would definitely look to stay there again. Great place and awesome time!
