About this property
Ebenezer Chapel: The Apartment
Ebenezer Chapel’s beautiful apartment is nestled in the rural parish of Bridgeyate, perfectly situated between the historic cities of Bristol and Bath. Its idyllic location makes it an ideal base for countryside walks, relaxing with a glass of wine, or enjoying a meal at one of the three pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Equidistant from the World Heritage City of Bath and Bristol, home to Brunel’s iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge, you’ll be perfectly placed to explore the many attractions the area has to offer. This unique one-bedroom holiday apartment is perfect for two guests looking for a peaceful escape in a charming “little hideaway.” Full of character, the apartment retains many original period features, including exposed beams, stone walls, and a stunning tall arched church window that fills the spiral stairwell with natural light. The apartment features a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, a luxurious super king-size bedroom (which can also be arranged as twin beds upon request), and a bathroom with both a bath and an overhead shower. Please note that the apartment is arranged over several levels and features two beautiful spiral staircases, which are an integral part of its unique character. The first spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine level, where the bathroom is located, while the second continues to the top floor, where you’ll find the cosy bedroom. Guests should be aware that the stairs may not be suitable for those with limited mobility or anyone who finds stairs challenging. A large entrance hallway provides ample space for storing bicycles, making it ideal for guests wishing to explore the popular Bristol-to-Bath cycle path. While there is no designated parking space within the property, several free off-street parking spaces are conveniently located next to the chapel.

We really enjoyed our time in The Apartment. It was well equipped with everything we needed. It was an excellent base to explore Bath & Oxford. We had dinner & drinks at the White Harte during our stay - well worth a visit. The bed was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this property.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was a great location from which to drive around and explore, and in the evening we unwound at the White Harte next door. The property was cute, comfortable, and private. Communication and instructions were very clear, allowing for a seamless check-in and stay.
Overall a good accommodation with the real exception being parking. Quite awkward being situated at the adjacent property in front of a busy pub/restaurant with inconsistent availability.
We really enjoyed our stay and figuring out the buses made it even better. Getting into Bristol was simple, followed by a great meal at the pub next door and finish the day off in a comfortable loft with a cup of tea!
We would stay hear again.
The accommodation caters for your every need. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. The White Harte next door was an excellent venue for drinks and dinner. Well worth a stop .We will return. Thank you.
Well appointed apartment ideal for a couple. Nicely situated between Bath and Bristol. Couple of pubs with easy walking distance. Was very clean and tidy. The spiral staircase up to the living area is novel. We’d stay there again.
Charming old chapel has been converted into a very comfortable and cute one bedroom apartment. Fitted out with everything you need and very clean. Hosts are super responsive. Great location on the edge of Bristol, situated next to a lovely country pub. Delightful!
We had a fantastic stay at the Apartment during our time in Bristol! It's a perfect location between Bristol City centre and Bath, with lovely walking trails and essential shops nearby. The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It's a great quiet spot as well and spacious enough to relax and windy down on an evening. We loved walking next door to the pub too! Thank you for a wonderful stay, I'm sure we will be back next time we're in town.
The Roman city of Bath has been designated as a World Heritage Site, with many fascinating historical sites to be seen, some dating back as far as the first century. The world famous Roman baths is not one to be missed. As well as its history Bath has an abundance of designer shops and boutiques, with a wide and varied choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs. Bath city centre is just a 15 minute drive from the chapel. Heading in the other direction for just 20 minutes will bring you to the city centre of the prosperous Bristol. Bristol is bustling with arts, culture, adventure, sports and attractions so you will never run out of things to do. With the 500 million shopping complex Cabot Circus makes Bristol a fantastic place to visit.
The location of the chapel make it a great base to explore all the south west. It is located right in between both Bath and Bristol. Besides these two great cities, there are an abundance of day trips to be had. Stone Henge, Cardiff and the Forest of Dean are close enough to be visited within a comfortable day trip.
