Villa Calamar

Villa Calamar is located just 400 metres from the beautiful beaches of Cala Santa Cristina and Cala Treumal, approximately 10 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car. Its excellent location and sea views make it an ideal choice for a relaxing holiday on the Costa Brava.



The property is accessed via the upper floor, where you will find a private rooftop terrace offering a spacious sun terrace and fabulous panoramic views of the Mediterranean, perfect for enjoying the sunshine and unforgettable sunsets.



Villa Layout

Main Floor



One level below, there is a separate guest toilet, a living room with fireplace, dining area, and a Smart TV with Netflix account included.

The fully equipped independent kitchen provides all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.



Both the living room and the kitchen have direct access to a covered terrace featuring an outdoor dining table, lounge corner, gas barbecue, and spectacular sea views, ideal for al fresco dining and evening gatherings.

This floor also includes a laundry room with washing machine.



From the hallway, there is access to two spacious double/triple bedrooms and a full bathroom with bathtub.



Lower Floor



On the lower level, you will find the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom (with shower), as well as two additional double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with shower.

These three bedrooms feature sliding doors with direct access to the terrace and the private pool area.



The fourth bedroom also has its own en-suite bathroom (with shower).



All bedrooms are equipped with shutters for added comfort.



Outdoor Area



The villa features a private 8 x 4 metre swimming pool with a semi-saltwater system, offering softer, chlorine-free water that helps prevent skin irritation and red eyes.

The pool terrace is furnished with 6 sun loungers, perfect for relaxing under the Mediterranean sun.

Wonderful week away

Property is in a fantastic location, 10 minutes walk from a delightful beach with a few delicious beach bars, 40 minutes drive from Girona, 5 minutes drive from a plethora of supermarkets. The house has all the amenities you could possibly need for a group of 12. Would definitely stay again. However, downstairs bathrooms could have been cleaner and the showers flooded due to drainage issues.

We were three families with kids living in this house for one week. Everything was great and met our expectations. If I have to mention something it would be the stairs in the house and the walk to the beach. The house has three floors plus stairs down to the pool area, so it was a lot of running up and down (good exercise though). The kitchen is two floors up from the pool. The walk to the beach was not long but steep and a bit tough for the small kids. There is a paid parking that is closer than the house but it is still stairs/downhill to the beach from it. Just something to have in mind. But the beach and the restaurant is wonderful!

We had a really great holiday. The villa is amazing. It’s very spacious, super clean, relaxing and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is really well equipped- there wasn’t anything missing that we needed. The BBQ was great. We did most of our meals on it. The veranda is a great feature of the villa as everyone can eat outside together with amazing views and a nice breeze. The beds are very comfortable and the blackout blinds really helped everyone get a good nights sleep and encouraged the kids to sleep in. The aircon in the rooms works really well- not noisy. We all managed to have showers at the same time too! The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful. The view of the sea is spectacular. Kids absolutely loved the pool (aged 7-15, not too deep for them) I’d say it’s not the right place if anyone in the party has mobility issues as it’s quite hilly and there is a steep path down to the beach. Having said that my 79 year old mum managed the trip to the beach fairly easily.

Sehr tolles Haus mit allem was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht ausgestattet. Der Weg zum Strand ist sehr steil aber der Strand ist wunderschön :)

Het huis was super schoon en op een mooie locatie. Wij hebben een gezellige tijd gehad in dit huis. Ik raad iedereen aan om hier te verblijven. De communicatie ging ook snel. Hele lieve mensen die dit huis verhuren. Het is wel nodig om een auto te huren om hier te kunnen verblijven. Lloret de mar is dichtbij als je houdt van een nachtleven of even een drankje te doen.

Alles zag er prima uit, alleen wat achterstallig onderhoud, maar dat vonden wij als groep geen probleem. Alle afstandsbedieningen van de airco's waren leeg, misschien vaker checken. Mooi zwembad en terras. Alles voldoende aanwezig in de keuken van glazen en borden. Prima verblijf voor de prijs die wordt gevraagd 😊
