Turtle Bay Villa was recently completed to a very high standard with Bosch quality fittings, no corners have been cut. An extra large private infinity pool and all bedrooms are large double size with their own private en-suites, they all have views over the beautiful turquoise Mediterranean sea, the surrounding mountains or both. Three bedrooms are on the 1st floor and the fourth is on a lower level giving more privacy if required. All bedrooms have their own private en-suites, air conditioning & fans.
The villa is positioned close to Kas Marina so you can watch the yachts sail past on their way in and out every day while relaxing in the large infinity pool or just soak up the sun on the sun beds or outside on the large settee. Enjoy your meals alfresco with direct access from the kitchen, or fire up the BBQ and let dad do his showing off.
The modern kitchen leads out onto a shaded seating area where you can enjoy your meals on the large marble table and chairs while watching the world drift by or relax & chat on the cushioned seating area while in the shade.
The open plan lounge has a large table and chairs for your family meals, twin luxury settees and large screen Samsung tv with 300+ film video library, internet radio, table tennis, swingball, darts plus dvd & hifi , a real log fire is in the living room should you wish for that cosy night in.
A dolmus (bus) ride arrives every 30 minutes and runs from 08.00-00.30 for 50p will take you into the Old Town of Kas filled with quaint restaurants, shops, the old harbour, locally made ice creams, cafes and hidden garden hideaway & free to use beachfront bars.
Catch a local boat trip to Meis (Greece) and spend the day in the ancient Greek village or hire a Gullet and take to the Med, swimming, snorkelling or just soaking up the sun. I would recommend a boat trip to the ancient sunken city of Kekova a must for everyone.
Kas has some of the best dive sites in Turkey and scuba diving is offered as a daily activity, it even has its own sunken WW2 tank & DC10 airplane specially bought in to help the sea life.
A parasail down from the local mountain direct in to the Old Town marina is a beautiful 40-60 minute airborne experience.
Visit the new marina at the entrance to the peninsula and take advantage of the full size fresh water swimming pool, restaurants, spa, laundrette, chandlers and grocery shops, or just take a nosy at the yachts.
A favourite trip for many is a short trip to the ancient Roman site of Patara where you can freely walk inside the 6000 seater 2000 year old amphitheatre and explore the huge amount of Roman ruins and buildings. To get there by dolmus (bus) will cost about £1.50. Patara beach has 18 km of talcum powder sand and shallow sea which is idea for cooling off and having a mellow swim or doing a morning fitness regime. However, you will be required to leave the beach by 19.00 as its Turtle time, this allows the turtles to come ashore and have their own R&R, fair enough!
Kas peninsular is the jewel of SW Turkey and has been listed as an area of natural beauty and archaeological interest by the government. Wild tortoises cross the road in front of you & you will probably find yourselves assisting them to the edge of the road. Turtles swim past on a daily basis and occasionally dolphins will grace you with their presence.
Turtle Bay villa is directly behind Dolphin Bay villa and can be rented together giving accommodate up to 16 people in 8 bedrooms, combined this would make a perfect setting for a joint rental of two families or wedding party. Turtle bay had its first marriage in September 2017 followed by its 2nd in September 2018 and this was the families 5th visit to the villas.
This is a villa that you will want to come back to year after year, most people do.
