Couples Getaway!!! Brand new luxurious carriage house located in the heart of the highly sought after Garden District in downtown CDA. A short walk to the Resort, beach, Tubbs Hill, and all the wonderful shops and eateries. Enjoy your morning coffee or cocktail hour on your private deck equipped with soft seating and gas grill. No detail was missed with high end finishes throughout, including soapstone kitchen countertops, Carrera marble bathroom, stainless appliances (gas), and front loading washer/dryer. Other amenities include king size bed, Central Heat/AC, gas fireplace, wireless internet, Smart TV w/ Direct TV satellite service and dvd in living room, kitchen fully equipped. 4 night minimum stay, also can be rented longer term. CDA stay

Enjoyed our stay at this adorable carriage house. The hosts are very nice and very accommodating the location was so close to downtown and tubbs hill. Enjoyed riding the beach bikes all around.

Wonderful place to stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay and the hosts John and Jennifer were great. They meet us when we arrived and had fresh baked cookies. The property is very clean, comfortable and quiet. It is with walking distance of the downtown area and easy drive to other attractions. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and chatting with a few neighbors. We would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The carriage house was beautiful and very welcoming. The McLeod’s were gracious hosts from fresh baked cookies to providing us with info on all the things to do around town. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Perfect place to get away from it all!

We love this adorable place! John and Jennifer are wonderful hosts and the Carriage House is perfect for 2 people! It is only a few short blocks from Tubbs Hill, downtown and the marina. Great for hiking, walking, bike riding and easy access to the freeway if you are headed out for more adventures! We can hardly wait to go back to Coeur d Alene and will definitley stay in the Carriage House again!

Delightful accommodations in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to town and the lake shore. The Carriage House was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Felt right at home. Great Carriage Home in CDA

Such a nice home in the lovely Garden District in CDA. Close walk down to Sherman Ave shops & restaurants. Owners were very nice and let us store our bikes in their garage. Great access to bike trails from their home. The home is nicely decorated, the bed is very comfy and everything worked great. We will be back!

Local kid comes home

Jennifer is the ultimate hostess and the studio apartment is fully appointed and has everything youll need fit a great stay. Everything downtown is walking or biking distance. This is as nice a VRBO rental for a couple as you'll find without spending a fortune to be on the water. Will be back!! Craig and Debbie

Beautiful carriage house!

Wow! This place was beautiful. The owners spared no expense building this little getaway. Clean, comfortable, quiet, stocked with everything you need; even a washer and dryer! We wanted to move in!! The owners, who were personable and welcoming, even loaned us bikes to ride around town with. It was worth every penny. I would definitely stay again.

Best place in CDA!

My friend and I decided to spend a long weekend in Coeur d'Alene and were lucky to find John and Jennifer's brand new carriage house. Not only was it comfortable and roomy for two women but it was decorated beautifully and had all the amenities you could imagine. The location could not have been better - a quiet beautiful neighborhood just blocks from downtown. John and Jennifer were perfect hosts treating us like friends staying in their home. Thank you so much for your hospitality! I will be recommending your place to my friends.

Book it!!

Rarely do you find a place that is so perfect! Excellent hosts who welcome you with homemade treats, flowers, chocolates and a spotless place to stay. Lots of natural light to view the park like neighborhood from the second story location. Keurig coffee, French press or a short stroll to several independent coffee shops, that also offer beer! Close to Lake Coeur D’alene and a plethora of restaurants or dine in with a fully stocked kitchen & BBQ on the deck. Bike, hike, run, wander by foot or car. The outdoors beckons and returning to this place is a relaxing haven. John & Jennifer were very accommodating and willing to launder our linens in unscented detergent due to allergies. This indeed is a very lovely place to stay!!

Ideal neighborhood

This VRBO is in an ideal location in the Garden District. It's a tranquil tree lined area, that is also walking distance to lots of great restaurants.

Super comfortable and relaxing

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Jennifer and Johns carriage house. We arrived to many little treats and surprises that made us both feel very welcomed. Jennifer was in constant contact when we needed her and most helpful. The location was great, with easy walking distance to Tubb hill and downtown. The cruiser bikes that they had for us to borrow were wonderful as we were able to go on some great rides from our location. A great way to be introduced to Coeur d’ Alene…thanks!

Awesome place to stay!

We really enjoyed this carriage house! The pics do not do it justice! We enjoyed the cookies, candies, extras like Starbucks coffee and the patio! The home was spotless and so well done! It could be on HHG TV! The owners were very accommodating even allowing us to use their beach chairs when going to the beach! While we are not bikers they even allow guests to use their bikes around town. Thank you for the enjoyable stay and we will be back!

Incredible!!!

One of the best Vrbo houses I have ever stayed at. Jennifer has thought of every detail in her house. She made our stay absolutely incredible with flowers, wine, homemade cookies, the best apples I’ve ever tasted and use of her bikes. The house is comfortable and convenient to everything in CDA. Highly recommend.

John and Jennifer have owned and operated vacation rental properties for nearly 30 years in the San Juan Islands, Wenatchee River, Cabo San Lucas, Kauai, Lake Pend Oreille, Scottsdale, and Sedona as well as Coeur d'Alene.

Why they chose this property

After having lived in many areas of the US and Mexico we moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1996. It was the best move we ever made. A wonderful place to raise kids and an absolute four season recreational paradise. Here we have enjoyed a quality of life that is hard to beat.
We are a short walk from downtown and a very short drive to wilderness.

What makes this property unique

The carriage house is a new addition to a 102 year old classic craftsman bungalow. It was constructed to mimic the original style with all the modern conveniences.
