POLEHOUSE COTTAGE - located at Hunter Valley

Sit back and enjoy a sunset over the best view in the Hunter Valley with a glass of wine or treat yourself to a dip in your own private spa. The Polehouse Cottage, only 2hrs out of Sydney is a relaxing way to escape the rush of modern day life. The cottage is located on a large property in Rosebrook, 15 minutes outside of Maitland city centre.
It has 2 bedrooms consisting of1 king and 1 queen beds. Features include a deck and barbeque overlooking the Hunter River, private spa and fireplace.
Access to the Polehouse is via a dirt driveway and thus may not be suitable for sports cars or vehicles with low ground clearance. Please keep the gate closed during your stay so that the cattle cannot enter the yard.

Opera in the Vineyards and other events at Hope Estate, 30 mins away.
Lovedale and Pokolbin Vineyards from 30 mins away.
Historic Town of Morpeth a Hunter River settlement is approx 20 mins away.
Barrington Tops National Park is approx 45 mins - 1hr away.

I had a fantastic time staying at the pole house. The beds were comfy and warm enough for the cold nights. The log fire and spa were perfect. Would definitely stay again next time I'm up that way.

Great peaceful quiet place, and we saw tons of birds and kangaroo and cows. The host was very nice and attentive. Suggest bringing your own beach towels for the hot tub as there is only one set of bath towels and no dryer so when using them both for showering and the hot tub sometimes they don't have enough time to dry in between.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Polehouse Cottage providing us with the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy some fresh country air. The house and spa were perfectly clean with comfy warm beds and an indoor fire that was sufficient heating. We’d definitely stay here again.

Winter getaway

Comfortable cottage. Lovely fire in the living room and spa on the deck. Needs a little step handy for spa access. Brought our own this time plus needs a few more choices of bowls/plates etc in the kitchen but basic setting there. Plenty of towels and comfy beds.

Truly relaxing, awesome views of river valley, sunrise and sunset. Very quiet and cosy fire. Lovely touch with cows in neighbouring paddock, kangaroos and birdlife.
