The host was great and had very good communication about weather conditions, site updates, and other information as I was getting to and staying at the property. The place itself was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, was very cozy, and kept us warm in the snowy weekend. Would certainly stay here again.
The host was very nice and easy to get in touch. I loved the floor plan. It was great having so many bathrooms, and the view off the deck was great. We even saw 3 deer and a skunk in the back yard.
The host was awesome. The weather started to turn and he granted us an early arrival and a late checkout to avoid the ice storm. He was super easy to talk to, gave his personal number, and was very welcoming. The house reminded me of my grandparents house. I would highly recommend this to families. Very down to earth, honest people ---- they do still exist!
Great owners. House has everything you need for a great vacation home. Deer everywhere and an occasional bear coming through looking for food. Overall, we’ve really enjoyed our trip! Would definitely recommend kicking back and enjoying family time!
Perfect location and accommodations for four couples attending a cousin’s wedding.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom - how great is that when four couples are getting ready for a wedding!
We were 2 families with teenage kids(4 adults and 5 kids) who rented this house for a ski weekend at Beech. The check in process was easy and everything was as advertised. Quick access to the ski resort. Plenty of room for everyone. It was a great stay.
House has a great view, owner was very easy to communicate with. House was located blocks from where we wanted to be. We only used the gas fire place and it was great to keep the place warm when needed. No complaints and we would stay at this location again.
We escaped the Southern heat wave and spent several weeks in the cool mountains at Beech. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of distant mountains from the patio where we gathered for dinners and chatting. The bird watching was a lot of fun. The location was private and quiet but still conveniently close to Fred's and several restaurants. Hiking along several gravel roads led to access to the Pond Creek Trail. The house had plenty of elbow room if you have a larger group - each bedroom had its own small bathroom. A relaxed, down-home-feeling summer vacation.
I took my children and grandkids to Beech Mountain for Mardi Gras this year and stayed at this house just off of Beech Mountain Pkwy. The pictures don't do it justice. It is beautiful and in a great area on the mountain. We throughly enjoyed our stay and recommend the property highly. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of room for everybody. The kids enjoyed sledding in the back yard and playing in the snow. (We don't get much snow where we live.) My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.
We had an absolute blast. The cabin is very cozy. Ski slopes are less than a mile away. After a long day on the slopes this was the perfect cabin to get back to. The local wildlife will even come and hang out with you when you are outside.
We had a great time in this cozy mountain cabin. We were two families both with young kids. We skied two days and enjoyed the afternoons warming by the fireplace and playing games. Plenty of room to hang out and have our own personal space. We will be back!
The only inconvenience was there was only one trash bag in the house. We had to go into town to buy more. Especially since you have to drive your trash to the dump. Pro tip- take out the trash before packing the car. The other thing was the renters before us, piled every dish in the house into the dishwasher. It was a mess when we got there. We had to take everything out, re-organize and re-run it.

In October, 2021, the Beech Mountain Sanitation Dept began twice a week residential garbage pickup. We were required to install a bear proof trash can enclosure with 2 large trash cans. All of this is in place, so, no more hauling trash to the transfer station.
We normally keep a supply of garbage bags in the pantry. I will pass this along to our housekeepers along with the dishwasher issue.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We would certainly enjoy having you back again.
We stayed here with our family of 7 and it was absolutely beautiful. The space had a lot of room and plenty of seating both inside and outside. The views through the windows were astounding. It was also very clean and the renovated showers were awesome. This place provided us with everything we needed for our trip, we were able take advantage of the kitchen to enjoy some home cooked meals. Not to mention, its right next to the ski resort! Super convenient as grocery stores and many restaurants were also nearby. 10/10 would stay again.
Rented this property with 7 other friends and it was such a great place to stay! Super close to the slopes and plenty of room for everyone! Also was stocked with all the kitchen things and even had a little game cabinet we utilized when the weather wasn’t so great for skiing! Definitely recommend!
