Felt so at home… Perfect home to stay in Healesville with a gorgeous view through trees to the mountain ranges. Knowing Healesville, this would still be perfect in winter with the fireplace and the view of low clouds and misty mountain ranges and planning to rebook. Lovely bedding, additional throws, bright bathrooms, house has it ALL and the coffee machine fresh beans! Could easily accommodate 6 adults with a blow up bed as a very spacious home with plenty of seating and separate areas relax. Thank you Stacey and Tim!

Hi Debby, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. The ducted heater definitely does work. I wished you advised us earlier to assist.
Gorgeous little hideaway 1 min from Healesville town centre
The garden cottage was a great little spot for us for a weekend getaway. The kitchen was great for cooking, but you're only a minute from Healesville town centre, close enough to get everything you need.
Jack and Stacey were really helpful.
We had a great time.
The cottage was very comfortable for our short break in Healesville. Kitchen was well set up with everything we needed. Bathrooms had great products to use - a bonus for guests!
The location above the town was ideal for a ‘country escape’…sitting on the verandah with a view of the mountains was very relaxing!
Thank you Jack and Stacey!
Beautiful and cozy place, clean and furnished with a great taste. The communication with the host was swift and friendly with all issues solved within minutes. Very close to centre, shops and other sights. Definitely recommended 👍
The property was beautiful! Perfectly appointed - every little detail was thoughtfully considered. It felt like we were staying at our friends home. Thank you!

A lovely family getaway on the edge of the Yarra Valley
My family enjoyed staying here for their weekend triple birthday celebration in the Yarra Valley. The space is beautifully designed with lots of places to relax (indoors and outdoors) and three rooms to sleep in. They enjoyed the many eateries in Healesville and exploring the wineries of the Yarra Valley, too. It was lovely for them to come back to the cottage to rest and relax (and recover from jetlag). Thanks so much!
The cottage had everything we needed for a weekend away to attend a friend's wedding. A comfortable living area, big kitchen, and an iron and laundry for getting ready. The highlight was the back porch where we enjoyed a quiet morning coffee in the sunshine after the night of the wedding.
The listing says 3 beds 4 baths. There are 2 beds and 2 baths
It was great but no tea towels and no instant coffee. Just plunger coffee but no plunger which was confusing. House was adorable but we were really needed the extra advertised bedroom and bathrooms.
The house is really nice and in an ideal location. We didn’t have a smooth check in process as the cleaners didn’t come when booked, so we couldn’t access the property until after 7pm (when it was promised it would be ready) where the cleaners were still there. It was an extremely hot day and the thermostat read 37degrees inside and the air con wasn’t on to cool the house down. We had a 14hr long travel day with a 7 week old so to be welcomed like this was less than ideal. The host only messaged us warning about the situation after the check in time, when we were 5mins away from arrival so we were left to find an alternative location to stay until the property was ready. We weren’t offered a partial refund for the huge inconvenience, or any compensation whatsoever and unfortunately an apology and promise to pass the feedback on to the cleaners doesn’t really suffice in my opinion. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to any other guests.

Hi Jennifer,
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your arrival experience wasn’t as smooth as it should have been. We completely understand how tough that must have felt after a long travel day, especially with a newborn in the heat.
That said, we were a little surprised and disappointed to read this review, as you seemed understanding at the time and didn’t raise any further concerns during your stay. We’re always available and would have been more than happy to assist — whether that meant helping with the air conditioning, offering support, or discussions around compensation.
The delay of approx 15 minutes with cleaning was due to a rare and unforeseen issue, and we did notify you as soon as we found out — which was before your check-in. We appreciated your patience in that moment.
As for the temperature, the home is fitted with a powerful ducted, refrigerated air conditioning system that cools the house very quickly. If we’d known you arrived to a warm house, we could have easily helped get things comfortable straight away.
We do take all feedback seriously and genuinely care about our guests’ experiences. We hope the rest of your stay was enjoyable and that you were still able to make the most of the beautiful location.
Differs to listing, not worth money we spent, when out someone used bbq on veranda
We were there 4 nights due to a wedding nearby. First impressions when we arrived was the yard and surrounding area is in need of attention. Arrival at night would have been tricky/dangerous. If kept nice I am sure the property would present a lot cleaner and offer views. The pictures also within listing do differ to real life, guessing photos are a number of years old. We did ask for 3 beds and only 2 were made. Upon making the third bed there was no additional linen that we could find and we found in draw under trundle bed towels that were wet so we decided not to bother with the third bed. Probably the most disappointing part is when we were out on the Friday and returned home we were parked out. We had to approach neighbours to move their car who were having a party. This wasn't really the issue but when we returned inside the house we had noticed the bbq on veranda had been used while we were out. Felt very strange and won't be staying there again and would not recommend staying here. Bathroom at front of house as well overflows while having a shower and ends up flooding. On the positive front I loved the fireplace, oven and other bathroom.
Lovely cottage with a huge garden for our dog to play in and a lovely verandah to sleep on in the sun. Two bedrooms and note there are actually 2 bathrooms (not one as suggested in description) - and both nice bathrooms with great showers).Spacious lounge room and Netflix is available if you don't feel like walking down to the town centre (close by) or visiting some of the breweries/wineries or Four Pillars (all easy walk away). My only suggestion is to invest in a few sets of drawers for the bedrooms (or tubs/baskets under the bedside tables) to put your smalls in !
A absolute rural gem.
Wonderful to immerse ourselves in this glorious rural setting .
The cottage had such a welcoming "At home" feel.
Sitting in any of the rooms in this home gave a you a sense of a peaceful oasis. Just SO delightful.
The front garden and borrowed visita beyond were glorious to look out onto from the front verandah setting.
A perfect place to inhale the "slow lane" in any season.
Look forward to returning with dear friends later in 2022.
Thank you for such a wonderful accomodation experience.
