The living is easy in this lake front property. An impressive open floor plan that encompasses four spacious bedrooms, three luxurious bathrooms, a stylish dream kitchen, and large lake facing patio all on the main floor. The lake view master bedroom with large closet, includes master bath suite with jetted tub. Ideally positioned to city beaches, marinas, airport, golfing, parks, cafes, restaurants, and shopping.

Below are a couple items for reference during your stay: All spacious bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds and luxurious linens and pillows. Bath#1: Full bath with comfort height toilet, shower with bench & grab bars. Bath#2: Full bathroom with a tub and travertine shower. Bath#3: The master bath has a jetted soak tub and separate travertine shower with bench. Optional upstairs Loft: 2 Queen beds
Linens and cleaning: Feel free to leave towels and linens in the laundry room upon checkout. No daily cleaning service provided. Clean towels, clean linens and house cleaning will only be provided upon check out or upon your request. All linens are professionally cleaned and delivered. Home is professionally cleaned after each guest.

Upon checkout, please leave dishes washed and put away or left clean in the dishwasher.

Cooking: Top quality pots, pans, utensils, mixing bowels and bakeware are provided.

Ovens: The wall oven start button is the digital clock. There are self clean modes on both ovens for easy cleaning.


Beach Towels: We do not provide Beach towels. Please bring your own beach towels and do not use the house towels at the beach.

**You will want to water shoes at the beach. Our beach is rocky before the sandbar. Bring your own life vests**

Upstairs Loft: The second-floor loft will be available for an additional fee.

Key Exchange: We have installed a Keyless code on the front door and garage door.
No step entrance is through the garage.
Parking: Driveway parking only. RV and boat parking are located on the left side paved area of the property.

Wifi: Posted on the right side of the fireplace mantle

Television: The television has cable under Youtube TV App and Netflix.

Trash: If the trash fills, feel free to take the bag out to the garage. New trash bags are located in under the sink. Please take out the garbage cans to the street on Wednesday night.

**Smoking: No Smoking of any kind inside the home. Violations will result in loss of deposit and reservation cancelled.

Pets: We do make acceptations for pets for an additional fee. Leave no trace behind.

Noise: Please be neighborly and keep the noise level down. Quiet time is 10 pm. NO LOUD MUSIC ANYTIME. No exceptions.

Our extended family has gotten together for the last 7 years and this is the best experience we have had. Much of this is due to the hospitality of the owner & the great communication. This home was lovely. It was very clean, decorated beautifully, and so cozy. I can’t imagine how wonderful it would be to stay during the warm weather months, with Lake Michigan just steps away. Definitely a place to enjoy again.

2023 Escanaba Retreat

Once again we have enjoyed another weeklong retreat with our family and friends in this beautiful lake house. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Did some good fishing, fun shopping and some lovely sight seeing. We so look forward to this fun retreat each year. Looking forward to next year already!

Graduation celebration

Large family, very comfortable stay. Pleasantly surprised by size of home. Amenities just as described and felt right at home. Kitchen very well stocked with cooking supplies. Kids had fun with pickle ball and bean bag toss games. Private backyard where we enjoyed campfire and when lake was calm kids enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. Super responsive host and easy to communicate with. Would love to book another stay!

Bachelor Weekend Getaway

Kymberlee has an amazing, well furnished place. We had 10 guys staying the weekend and everyone had a place to lay down. The kitchen is huge and has everything you could think of. Outside is flat, maintained, and has a couple fire pits to offer. The "beach" in front of the house is a stretch to call it that but there is a very nice beach a mile down the road. 10/10 would recommend staying here for any group.

This was a great overdue get together of our card group with ages ranging from 54-88. We don't get together as often as we like compared to years ago, but loved our time together. Perfect for larger groups!

This house was a perfect home base for our family trip to the U.P. to visit family nearby! We have stayed with our group in several rentals over the years, and it was agreed by all that this home was far and away the best set up for a large group encompassing multiple families. There were plenty of bedrooms and having three full bathrooms with two bath tubs for bathing the littles with us was a game changer! We loved gathering in the open kitchen and family room area that had the perfect amount of seating for our group and the large kitchen island made preparing meals for our group a breeze. We all commented how the kitchen was better stocked than our own kitchens at home! The yard down to the lake was spacious and thoroughly enjoyed by the 6 kids we had with us. The view of the lake was beautiful. Although a little chilly a few days we were there, we all enjoyed wading in the water and taking in the views! Kymberlee was so friendly and easy to communicate with. We look forward to staying again in the future as our kids were devastated to have to leave :-)

Two Weeks in the UP!!!

The property is even better than the VRBO on-line description. Plenty of room inside and outside, kitchen is well stocked, and the canoe, kayaks, and paddle board, plus a few floats were in good shape. Two coffee makers plus a bean grinder were put to good use. Refrigerator was large and included an ice maker along with a big bottom freezer. Plenty of cupboards. While water shoes are a must a walkable beach area is just a few houses away. If a swimming beach is desired it is a short drive to Ludington Park Beach. Escanaba is close and is an enjoyable afternoon. Couple of good restaurants, breweries and wine tastings are available as well. All of this is surpassed by the responsiveness of the owner/host Kymberlee. Communication was immediately returned and the minor issue with a dishwasher was corrected quickly. Trina the housekeeper, maintenance/ grounds person corrected our issue with professionalism. We have been using VRBO properties for over 20 years. This property is in our top 3. If you are visiting the UP of Michigan consider this property. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely setting & beautiful home!

About the home & property: Kymberlee is very responsive, very easy to contact and very gracious to deal with. The home is spacious and fully stocked with almost anything you might need. The patio is an awesome place to relax, have a cocktail and watch the water. There is a nice fire pit area set up near the shore. The noise from the truck traffic on the highway out front is annoying. I would suggest earplugs be worn at night for anyone staying in the front 2 bedrooms. I can't understand why the speed limit of 50 mph isn't enforced by local police better since this is a mostly residential area. About ADA Accessibility: We rented this home mostly because of the accessibility, I have a mobility issue & use a walker. It was way bigger than we needed for the two of us. The front entrance was a bit dicey - 2 flat stones set in gravel. I would suggest making a better walkway because anyone with a wheelchair would have a big problem. Also the shower in the mud room, does have a bar inside and one on the outside but it is a step up to get into. The walk in shower in the master should have some bars installed as that does not have a step and could be better used by someone with mobility issues. All bathrooms do have bars by the toilets which is great! The fire pit area is not handicap accessible as it is located near the shore which is down a small incline from the patio and set up in a grassy area near the shoreline. We were not able to use that & while it would have been nice to use, it was not a deal breaker for us. ADA requirements are hard to comprehend unless you need those amenities. All in all this is the best ADA accessible property hat I have found on VRBO and there are not many that truly are! There are quite a few listings that say they are but in reality, most listed are not. I have been in contact with VRBO parent company many times asking them to create a better policy for listing handicap accessible properties but so far nothing has changed, which is very sad and hard for the handicapped traveler wanting to find a vacation rental. All that being said, we will definitely consider renting again, possibly Fall of 2021.

Our Favorite VRBO House

We love this property. This was our 4th year and we look forward to next year. The house is beautiful, wonderful view, great location, fully stocked, and perfectly accessible for all ages of family members. Kym is great, a very friendly and helpful host, answering any questions we have quickly. I have rented many houses from VRBO throughout the years and this is by far my favorite. Thanks again for another great stay!
